I think that psychedelic is not about bpm. Any music or sound can be psychedelic. But i suppose that for different people best bpm for going into TRANCE is different. So bpm is more about HYPNOS in music and HEART BEAT. And also i think that it is easier to open your mind and soul for slow bpms. So most of people cant reach trance with high bpms. for dem it seems like speedcore. Information is going too fast. It becomes annoying but stimulating. +It is very important how to MIX this style of music and depends of taste of musician (dj) how he give it to people on dancefloor.

you dont have to play 200 bpm all the set. but if you designed your mix good the culminative moment with 200 bpm could be killer))) and not affect tripping people))) but make their trip more intense for some time)) it depends of MOMENT. it must be in RIGHT TIME....

I totally agree with my bro Furious on this one - different bpms can cause the "same" experience in different people and dj is important as well
