Just like the name of this compilation indicates there are three ways to actually acquire this cd.

1.You purchase it from your local record store.
2.You order it with your credit card from the internet.
3.Or you just send Hercules some stamps for his stamp collection and in favour he will send you a copy of his latest release Monarchie 3.

As you can easily understand the choice of the third method proved to be very successful for me indeed.

This is the 16th release of the Greek based ZMA records digitaly mastered at D-Suite by Volker Konig of Ololiqui and featuring already established artists but also many new names from all around the trance world.

Fasten your seat belts lads...

Tracklist

01.Frogacult-Beware Of The Sand
02.Metronome And Sonitus-Psycho Poet
03.Molecular-Confucious
04.Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom-Connected (Nerve Remix)
05.Overlap-6th Sense
06.Prosper-Synaesthesia
07.Time Lock-Vaio Fever
08.Mungusid-Toaster
09.Molecular-Sky High

Review

01)Frogacult are Mikkel Calum and Casper Datai from Denmark.Their track Beware Of The Sand starts with a really nice and clever vocal sample before a superb combination of kick and bass that gets right after into the game. The track keeps its groovy rythm until the sixth minute where a nice melody appears and makes it even more danceable. This is a good tune and i am sure that proggy fans will fall in love with this one.

02)The second track Psycho Poet is a collaboration between Metronome and Sonitus on 138 beats per minute. The title of the track might seem funny to some of you but believe me the content of this one is really really serious, the strong rythm will make you dance like crazy and those backround sounds will just blow you away.Highly recommended!

03)Confucious is produced by our well known friends from this forum A.Shilansky and Y.Hamam under their Molecular project. The track begins with a very good melody and some really nice guitar sounds on the backround, perfect introduction. There is a great atmosphere throughout the track that creates an ancient Chinese city image in our mind.Really sophisticated tune like its title indicates.

04)Here we have a remix by Nerve to the track Connected originally produced by the German trance act M.O.S. or Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom for those that can actually say the whole name without having a heart attack.I didnt much liked the original version of this track so its no suprise to me at all that i didnt also liked this remix also. This kind of music is just not my style but i am sure that some people will appreciate this tune a lot more than i did.

05)This was for sure the less interesting track for me in this compilation,6th Sense by Overlap is just not my cup of tea so i just skipped this one really fast.

06)Step aside as the heavy artillery of Yugoslavia is attacking without leaving anyone alive and without ofcourse taking any prisoners at all.Prosper is the side project of N.Vujnovic also known as Manibus and his track Synaesthesia is nothing less than an amazing full on piece of art.The track starts with a superb dark melody coming from the backround and after that chaos and mayhem is spreaded all around the place causing side effects and brain damage to everyone unlucky enough to listen to this tune. This is by far the best track of this compilation and one of the finest productions that i have listened to for a long time now. Please feel mercy for those poor clubbers and dont play this one on a big sound system.

07)Time Lock is the full on side project of Felix Nagorsky well known from his collaboration with Samuel Valerstein on PPS Project.Vaio Fever is a strong and powerfull pumping full on track ideal for the night time in a party.Keep an eye on this guy and his debut Time Lock album in the near future.

08)Mungusid is A.Soloid from Ukraine. His track Toaster is a nice full on track with some lovely russian vocal samples in it and i sense some very big potential in this guy and since my senses never failed me until now i will try and get more info about him and watch closely his future work and releases.

09)Finnally we meet for the second time Molecular in this compilation with their track Sky High which is a very very nice melodic morning tune, wise choice for ending this cd.Hercules the founder of ZMA Records has a special gift on choosing the right tracks for the end of his compilations and he just did it for once again.Sky High spreads ambitious feelings all over and contains some fine morning melodies that i just cant get enough of.Very good work and highly recommended track to end your morning dj set.

Monarchie 3 is a superb compilation and i am absolutely amazed from the high quality releases that ZMA Records is bringing to us throughout this year. Some might say that i have only good things to say for the Greek label because i am a close friend with its founder Hercules,to all of you that think or even claim this i have only some words to say to you,go out and buy this compilation straight away and if you regret it then mail me and i shall send you a refund immediatelly.

My favorites are 2(!),3,6(!!!) and 9(!)

Overall Rating 8/10           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Hey Detox, if I send Hercules some stamps from Mauritius, will I get the compilation too?

Anyway, ZMA is one of my favorite labels. They never disapointed me. I can't wait for this cd to arrive to Israel.           Majority is never right!

Yossi i heard this track like every track in the compilation two times (except the Manibus and the Molecular ones that i heard even more for various reasons)

When i said that i skipped this one really fast i meant that i didnt spend more time on this one cause it is just not my taste.

For example i liked the Confucious track but i heard a part of it more than 5 times because a sound seemed to me that really didnt fitted in the track or that sounded somehow too disorted to me.When i find something good or bad in a track i stick with it and examine it a little more,in Overlap track except some trumpets (or saxophone or something like that) in the backround i didnt find something that turned on my curiosity so i spended little time on it,in other words i skipped it really fast.

I dont like this track, those that like it should make also a review of the compilation and explain also why they like this one           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

DETOX -
Very nice review.
Thanx allot for the nice credits you gave us.
Things are looking good for us this days after the upgrade we did in the studio and in the production side.
our new style is little differ then the last trax released, we feel more mature in our music and from this release and forward we hope to make only high quality releases.

about Overlap - i think that their music is super cool and i think we gonna hear from those talented guys new and refreshing music.
everyone has its own opinion on music and i respect that you said what you think.

Regards.
