He now works on a secret project called Hasarut, a guy that took a lot of drugs because his parents used to treat him badly and got scratched, and now the only way he can communicate is through making trance music...
(sorry all non-Israelis, this is some private Israeli thing that will take too long to explain- not too interesting either really)

OK but be prepeared for a long story.
Haim Zinovich is a local Israeli musician/Singer/Actor. at some point when his career wasn't going too well he devised this genious publicity scheme. he recorded an Ethno-rock'n'roll album and credited it to "Hasaruf" (The burned guy) all the photos showed a guy with bandages on his face and the official story was that the guy suffered from a bad case of burns that got inflicted to him when he was a child, this together with a very tragic and sad lifestory.
the album got rave reviews and a lot of stories were written about him in the newspapers including full scale interviews and biographies at first everybody fell in the trap (including the biggest daily newspaper "Yediot Achronot").
then one of the smaller and more radical papers here got a lead on the cheat and exposed it. all the journalists that supported the story tried to excuse themselves, and zinovich himself said that he didn't try to hide to much, but that if the media is too stupid not to double check the story it's their fault.
eventually it all blew away, but Zinovich got quite alot of publicity (and as we know bad publicity is as good for sales as new is). this is the story of Hasaruf. now Hasarut, is just a simmilar word that means the scrached. and it's a private joke that shahar did for us israeli guys.

P.S. nevertheless Zinovich is a very fine musician.
