Yes... unfortunately a man died in the river during the party. this is a very unfortunate event for all people involved. The exact circumstances of the cause of his death are unknown at this stage.

yes, the general overuse of the word 'killah' - not only does it mean 'good' with reference to dark music, it also seems to have become a new sub-genre. I think out of respect for the poor soul that drowned at Earthcore, we should stop using this word           new Hadal Drop album on the way

Hallucinogen - Without any doubt the most psychedelic musical experience I have seen/heard bar none. The way he twists and morphs sounds and generates energy on the dancefloor is beyond genius. The sound system was huge, and the crowd were awestruck... Amazing.

Son Kite - As to be expected, the master of progressive was as smooth as silk, and lived up to all expectations... Absolutely brilliant set. The sun came out literally just before his first track started, and the music was no less than magic. "Massive" and "On Air" were particular highlights.. It was a shame that Marcus couldn't make the set, but it was still amazing. This was the highlight of the festival for me. The final synth note that he tweaked off as a fading warm, wash of sound is still fresh in my mind.

FREq - Again as expected, was brilliant. Driving, deep, tribal and had the dancefloor grooving.

Shpongle - genius. There couldn't be a better group in the world to end this party, and the crowds response confirmed that. Shame it was so intensely hot that many people had to leave the dancefloor to find shade. Every day was like this - unbearable heat..

The main stage was an amazing set up, although something with the sound wasn't quite right... almost lacked warmth... for some reason the Hydra (second) floor seemed to generate more energy. And the river & music down there was a nice touch.

Umm hallucinogen not playing on main stage? What the hell? How was the Shpongle set? Any new material? What was it like? Tell me, TELL ME!           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

majority of the Shpongle set was new material

it was fucking lush

shame there wasn't any shade on the dancefloor (unless you hid behind the speaker stacks) so I had to sit it out under a tree, which wasn't ideal for sound, as the stacks were pointing at one another, so there was a bit of a delay on the sounds from one of them if you weren't between them           new Hadal Drop album on the way
