but we need participation
first round you must name 5 south africans (excluding nelson)
from the 5 that everyone puts down the two with the most votes will go one on one in the final elimination round
also after your list of 5, addd your favourite, as caligula asked (if it is the same dude on your list of 5 it counts as bonus pointas to the elimanation round)

2. Mark Shuttleworth, for starting the revolution.
3. Gavin Hood. Because he really deserved that Oscar and Charlize is just too fake.
4. Tumi Makgabo - the BEST CNN presenter ever and she's just so cool.
5. Roland Schoeman. Because he didn't sell out like Ryk did. I mean Ryk doesn't REALLY eat just weetbix for breakfast, that much is obvious

Ok, so I have real heroes. But if we're going to get all retardo, then I do have some skeletons in my closet...
1. Johan Stemmert
2. That dude with the waistcoat (Clive something or other) who used to present that music show on TV4 (yes I am THAT old). He had a wicked mullet.
3. Joost and Amor. What heroes.
4. Advocate Barbie.
5. Alex Jay. He's fucken EVERYWHERE. On radio. On TV. On KFM. I mean, doesn't he know the meaning of 'retirement'.
Special mention to Barney Simon for having the WORST intro for any radio show EVER.
AND THE ULTIMATE HERO FOR ANY DANCE FAN....
DEREK THE BANDIT.
I can't believe you guys don't idolise him.
tsk tsk. He single-handedly commercialised the entire dance-scene and made camel parties OH SO COOL!
