If you talk about chocolate as a beverage or basic material (which in my language is called cacao altogether and not chocholate) you're right.
But chocolate as in bars and blocks and stuff was indeed first produced in Switzerland.

its just crap. only nice thing is view and mabe some nice people. other than that its 3rd world , bad politics , coruption every were.
The list wont end there , what about high prices like telkom (helkom) and other moblie phone services. all way too expensiv compared to europe!
Oh , and to |337 , I really didn mean the rape thing in that way , it was merly the point i was trying to make.

those reasons you list are only exacerbated by people leaving and hiding in the 1st world. i'm not saying you owe to SA to stay, but it would be nice if those would national pride pulled together to sort things out.
i'm in london now, taking an opportunity to see the world, but i'll always come back to SA, and hope most would stay.
anyway, each to their own.. i could hardly complain when someone doesn't like SA, as the reasons you mentioned are true.. and the crime is bad.. but is running the best answer?
add to my list of favourite south africans: those that will brave the '3rd world storm' and see SA into a brighter future.
