which is what you could have posted in your first reply instead of asserting the false claim that people were not open to it because the artist went in a new direction. the smugness of your other claim was invalid and needed to be pointed out.

yes, we obviously have different tastes.           nlm - http://goaconstrictor.com v4.2

yea, i was having a bad day no smuginess intended, was just a bit fed up with much negativity that had surrounded me the past days.           If music were god, then genres are a lot like religion

After listening a few more time to the album I have discover that the second half (train, spinning,...) is quite enjoyable.

The problems seems to pass the first half without getting bored, so I would recommend listening just from Train to the end.

Some interesting things on there, and while it's not as deep or innovative as other Simon work its good music for chilling out.

I do agree that Train has a great hook and could be a really great song. I'm looking forward to hearing the instrumental version of the album that they are prepping, perhaps Train will truly shine then... =)

I think the biggest problem with this release is with the vocals. Instead of putting all energy in the music, they decided to let somebody sing in the same way with the same voice in the same ... and the same ... and the same .... so this album is more a 'the same' thing.
Actually, it doesn't really matter because I don't have to listen to it anymore. It's their good right to do things this way           http://soundcloud.com/helixirjos

This album simply does not work for me. I enjoyed the first two albums so much that my expectations were really high. Especial the Flock of Bleeps album is probably one of the best this genre has ever delivered.

Even if there are about two tracks that are fine the whole release is quite boring. The main reason is the vocals. After 3-4 tracks they start to tire me a lot. As a production we don't have neither the clever ideas of the previews albums. Dissapointed
