It is nice, has some ideas inside in different directions then we're used in the so called psyscene, so don't think it is fair to compare it with dance music or chill out music. It is different (which in itself is already a positive aspect), some will like and others won't.

I think this albums appeals to a wider audience than just the psytrance scene. In many ways is one of the better albums I have hear in a very long time.
Its sounds a lot like pink floyd + air, but it has much more acid and joy.
What I loved about its the way iot transmits joy and hapiness, its real sensible muic.
This is al album that will go beyond the frointiers of electronic music. |

I just played psychic gibbon as an introduction to the psychill genre to an established german jazz guitarist... all he had to say is ... when is gonna take off, it's the same thing over and over again !
well... my favorite has always been 'Your Friends Are Scary'... and he liked Electrypnose's Raising Monsters. so go figure!  |
