Given this album another listen and i'd say it's definitely neo-infusionistic-half-on! Its underground/overground-wombling(3) pad-bass-fishing progressive but definitely nothing like Tony-Malony's-green-bicycle! Some say Yotopia are like listening to ABBA's greatest hits whilst urinating in a big copper kettle but this is simply not true - and although they are reconstructive and slightly Fonzie's-new-whistle, i wouldn't call them spongy.

Ok! Do i finally win the 'most full of bullshit' competition?

PS, Please don't tell the nurse i've been out of bed.

at nolightatend :

what?! antix is psychedelic prog, prog on, whatever?!

not at all, imo...Its pretty clubby prog trance.. Its too slow, and some tracks have that “continuous bass“ that is mostly from prog house tracks (eg. the Cold Night)..
you can hear a lot of the club influence in track 6 and 8... Very atmospheric tracks on that cd, I really like it, one of the cds that keep me into prog trance

as for yotopia: sounds like too much of this “prog on“ or whatever that has been released lately.. not my style at all

great album from this duo...

i waited a long time for it, now i listen every day...really good work...
My favourites: 1, 3, 6, 9

and whats this stupid disscusion all the time about styles...it's just great music..thats it, no need to create new styles and names specaly when they are so silly and useless like "progg on".

some like theyr music..some not...all about taste..

congarts to yotopia...all the best

cheers

Another nice release from Portuguese Flow.
This is a quite good melodic proggy album.
However I think it could need some more variated trax. Anyway, I noticed their productions since Spark, and I think in the future they are a major force to reckon in the Prog scene
Favorite tracks 7 and 9

@Dibu-Tonic: Bit early to be saying that don't you think?? Still, a solid album this is. The cooperation with Lish is among the best!           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."
