I will not talk about Yasser age, or if his father is doing the right thing...
But I have to say Yasser is not a bad dj. I heard him just once. And it was not bad at all. Only pop full on, but a nice set, nice mix, and one more thing: the kid knows how to act in front of the cdj´s.
If Spun was looking for a promising big star dj, I think they got it.
ps: I still think is too easy play 2 hour set only with "GMS´s" full on... But maybe that´s what Spun crew wants.

Well, one last word of mine regarding Yasser. Yesterday I had the oportunity of hearing his dj set, and since I was at the stage at that moment, I could also see him perform his trade over the mixer & cdj.
Moral issues aside, the kid really knows his job. His mixing was quite nice, he presented quite a suitable fullon set. But what impressed me most was his personal perfomance on stage. Quite well produced, the kid knows how to behave, knows prety well how to interact with the audience.
This, altogether with his playlist, results in a quite explosive and enjoyable set.

The kid is GOOD, just enmadned 5.000 pp on trancendence playing just after bansi... Do not come with moral judgements to try and castrate a borning talent

AGE has nothing to do with MUSIC... if the kid has a gift, let he show his talent. The drugs are present in everywhere in our society and sometimes can be much safe staying in party with his dad than alone on the streets/schools/parties.
He is a talented boy and will get much better.
He is 12 now , think what he can do with 20 or more |

So what i gather from what some of the ppl out here are saying is that just because hes young he should not be playin. Well sure sounds like a lot of dj's and guys who wanna become djs are jealous of the little wonder just cause he gets to play at a big gathering and also gets hooked up with a big label like Spun. If the boy has talent and makes the ppl dance on the dance floor then y not. His parents have the athourity to decide what thier kids should be doin.
So hes young!!!!!!! Noone blabbered a word when Erez (Infected Mushroom) made his first album
at an early age of 14- 15 (correct me if im wrong) under Shiva Shidapu and look at him now hes a genius. Im of the opinion that he may just eat half if not all the artist in this scene for breakfast where production is concerned and i beleive hes just 22-23 now if he goes on like this can you imagine what he will become a decade down the line.
I think you guys from Brazil should be proud of the kid. Hell soon be touring with the grace of god and he will be keeping the Brazilian flag up there so support the guy and do some good karma insted of putting the guy down and discouraging him for god sake. Who knows he may just have an album out down the line and half of you djs here will be hunting his tracks on the internet.

I'm surprised with a lot of coments only because the new lable of the kid...
He played at our two editions and for sure when we have the next (really?? SURE??? ohh nonononon!) he'll be with us.

I think a young boy like him should play, if he likes to. But one should be careful not to let him be raised only in such places, cause it would be hazardous for his mental health.
