...but it's not till 19th October. Guess I'll just have to go into cryogenic suspension till then...

Basics: it's a Karroo & Moonflower party, X-Dream, Cosmosis, Bamboo Forest all live, Shane Gobi and Shahara DJing.
You kept this very quiet, Monastic Squid hehe:)
Wasn't Tom telling me earlier about something else amazing on in October? I've forgotten. Tom?

I met Andreas AKA Moonflower of Moonflower Recs at Voov and he gave me a flyer for this night, we had a chat and there is apparently another night the week before with a similarly phat lineup, including Logic Bomb apparently - so things are looking up for London?
Perhaps with a venue like the Rex and the price that the promoters can charge it means they can start to get several big names all at once. Was there not GMS, Deedrah and Synthetic all at one night at the Rex as well?

So to recap:
1st weekend of October: infected mushroom (hmmm), BLT (smart!), astrix (YEEEESSS!)
2nd weekend: logic bomb and pals
3rd weekend: X-Dream, cosmosis...
better catch up on sleep _now_ I suppose.
Was it this busy last year? I was still in LA at the time...

12th october - another psygate? with logic bomb, koxbox and saiko pod live - could be a blinder!
also mutterings about another TIP World launch party - with three live acts!!! - on the 1st November....
the nights out in london have suddenly stepped up a gear!

In samothraki i am going to see most of the biggest names but not x-dream..
Lucky me i ll be in uk this october soo there i could see X-dream !!! Yes thats the spirit! This is a perfect autumn season opening. What about this Rex club ..is it good? I have been to tyssen and brixton academy and i liked both.. what will be the price - 15? |

have a look at some of the other threads in this UK forum for what people think about the Rex...
most people think it is _excellent_ (me included).
It is an old converted movie theatre.
Dunno about the price but it should be just less than 15 pounds incl. booking fee.

If I remember rightly it's £15 + bf, which makes it £17 (and the only reason I remember is because I was quite shocked at the price)

seem to be edging up.... on the other hand I guess
I do understand _why_. The lineups (linesup?
are getting really strong and these people are not appearing for nothing.
But: 17 pounds? VooV cost me 20 pounds....
How can this be? Economies of scale I suppose.
