Yes I do believe I'm not a good dancer. That doesn't stop me from dancing though...

nobody asked u to agree with this topic & everybody can write his opinion ,,right?

Yes of course you are allowed to your own opinions, even if you IMHO you have no compelling argument besides begging the question that "trance has more variety" => "trancers are better dancers".

why u staying here man?/

i mean if your beleives are like trancers as dancers sucks
& that trancers are the best masturbators
u should go away from this trance community & fix your life

I never said that trancers sucked at dancing, I precisely stated however that what sucks for someone is great for someone else no use badgering people into agreeing with you.

And I guess you can't take a joke regarding masturbation... I was merely joking at the fact that these let's-pat-ourselves-on-the-back topics tend to be so one-sided since it is impossible to define good taste as it is impossible to know ALL forms of dance so as they say "Sujet Clos!"

But don't worry about my life, it might be broken but I like it the way its turned out for now. And trust me, I am not so shortsighted as to limit myself ONLY to the trance community since I enjoy cultural movements in life besides trance. Maybe you can to one day

Cheers...

ps. Great electro sample kako

I can still come up by saying that no party or festival can provide a variety so well blended such as the variety met at trance events. You still miss my point just to argue. Not even one of the above mentioned groups can move my senses. On the contrary ,trance acts and their style variation can do so, if gathered all together at a massive event. So in the small country where i live...let me try to see if it's working on others as well.

Haha because you do know them all, hmm ?

It's not about "missing" your point.. It's just about not being agreed with it.

I don´t think this is about we being the best dancers but actually about this being a really danceable form of music.

I mean, House, Techno, etc all these forms are much more constant, making the dance less dynamic also. With psy music, that fast bass going up and down, the constant change in groove make ppl really move a lot to follow it (if they get into it)

And also, its just makes u bounce! U can´t hear psy music properlly without shaking your head loll, even if you show it to non psy listeners most will uncounsciouslly start bouncing hehe...

I wouldn´t say we are the best dancers, there is no best, there are 1001 dances, from salsa to breakbeat, amazing dancers who devote their lives to the art of dancing and do incredible things

We are not even "dancers" lol, the merit is not ours, but to the form of music, that inevitably just makes us bounce!! heheh! So you don´t need any studied dance, nothing like that, you just have to go with the flow

Its a more tribal approach to dancing imo...

I went to a one week party free in the morrocco desert, after a few days it was full of berbers, people that never heard any type of electronic music before....You should see them dance...it was like it was in their blood, like they had been doing that all they lives...it was beutifull to see them dance

i believe that drum 'n' bass is the most dynamic musik as far as it cosiders dancing!
i dont listen to d'n'b at home at all but i have crushed the dancefloor for 6 hours in d'n'b parties ...

back to the dance topic...

do some re-search on Shiva and the Dancing Nataraja.... and you'll know all...

pay special attention to the drum he holds in one of his hands drum=> a symbol of a repetitive beat.

the drum he holds is a symbol of creation within the dancing shiva (Nataraja).

the figure he is dancing on is a symbol of Illusion (maya)- he is destroying the figure he is dancing on. Destroying illusion time is an illusion... dont you feel 'timeless'when you dance... doesnt music and sound transcend time.... ?

sometimes i'm, wondering why i still love goa...

feel the beat & dance untill the end ONAMASHIVA

finally it seems that trancers are great dancers in countries like portugal , russia , greece ,brazil, israel, india & some other countries not..
about some writtens i read there are some members from other european countries they feel not very proud about the dance abilities of the trancers in their home..
so i think it depends on each country..

Sorry, no offence intended at you in the next sentence but.. Can you measure the ammount of sheer nonsense in this affirmation ? Since when respecting the way other people from other electronic style do dance means that we're not proud of the way we do ? And anyways, f**k I should have written that since the very beginning : Odysseus when I'm going out to have fun, may it be in a Psychedelic Trance Party, an Elektro Party, a Techno Party, a Reggae Concert, in the pubs of my town, wherever, I'm dancing the VERY SAME WAY !

And it will be my final word.. fffiou..           .
