I wrote it already but maybe I was not clear enough.. Greece is not the center of the world, so the nightlife there has its good and bad things I guess, as well as every other place, each one with its own particularities..

So, maybe trancers are the best dancers in Greece according to you and I can't verify it by myself.. But please don't state it in such a "worldwide" way..

Just don't worry for me..
I'm lucky enough to live in a region where France, Germany and Switzerland have common boarders..

Try this then, because I'm pretty sure we're not using the word "Elektro" in the same meaning..

First of all you should stop your ironic posts for Greece. Geographical references and statements such as "Greece is not the center of the world" are underestimating our iq mate. The center of the world is definately not Greece. I just said that psy trance is among the bigest dance genres here. And feel free to verify it your self.

Second your conclusion is not what it should be. Try and think how This small country keeps the psy scene as high as possible. And in any case if you don't care, then simply try to support psy trance in where you live.

That's very good for you indeed. Now check how many parties are happening within the region i live. (FYROM, bulgaria, serbia,Greece) visit the greece and balcan sections. Now come again and tell me what you think. And i don't even try to compare the size of these countries with Germany, france and switzerland.

So once again, try and work it out. You can do better for sure in your region instead of one way or another trying to degrade trancers.I even saw some posts such as "definition is limitation" etc.

Ppl what are you talking about? You can find electro ,house, pop lyrics, even heavy metal within trance. . Tell me wich dance genre provides such variety. Just name me one.

We are members of the most openminded scene and the BEST DANCERS worldwide.

Best regards

back to the dance topic...

do some re-search on Shiva and the Dancing Nataraja.... and you'll know all...

pay special attention to the drum he holds in one of his hands drum=> a symbol of a repetitive beat.

the drum he holds is a symbol of creation within the dancing shiva (Nataraja).

the figure he is dancing on is a symbol of Illusion (maya)- he is destroying the figure he is dancing on. Destroying illusion time is an illusion... dont you feel 'timeless'when you dance... doesnt music and sound transcend time.... ?           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

Hehehe now that is smashing.. I'd like to know where I am degrading Trancers.. There is a world between degrading them and reminding them that they're not as "special" as some of them think they are..

Drum'n'Bass, Broken Beats, Nubreaks, HipHop (not 50 Cents or Eminem for sure..), Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Chill Out, Elektrodub, Elektroclash, Leftfield, Big Beat, and so on, just to name a few..

But I'm going away from the topic..

Mr Mod - Kindly answer that !

Anyway why have you placed Architecture as last of the arts with the help of some reference??
I am sure Ayn Rand would not approve of that!!

Anyway your point may be correct that it is unsubstanstiated truth that trancers are best dancers
and so too to frame a question around the so called fact - but as this is just a informal discussion forum the spirit of discussion should be brought under the scanner and not only the title!

Anyways with all due respect to you this is a peaceful and trance law abiding discussion so where is the need for negative feedback?

I haven't !
Hegel, who is the author of this classification did, but it's not a "qualitative" one, architecture is placed here because it is the artistic expression that requires the more some raw materials, while Poetry, the 6th one and so, according to Hegel, the more "outcoming" (hope the translation is correct) because it requires nothing but a pen, and of course, the emotions of the writer, it's going beyond the material.

Of course I do like architecture a lot, and many things changed since the drawing up of this classification (1835)

You are missing my point here. Trance - psy trance - prog trance - metal trance - pop trance - electro trance...all these sub genres are under the TRANCE "tag" and are well represented by several artists every one unique at his style.

Ofcourse i keep my own view and once more i'm expressing my opinion. No music genre represents such variety.

Any hip hop band with guitars on stage such as the C.C.?
Any reggae band with trance samples and beats like sub 6 i.e. 7th son or raheya where michele's lyrics and reggae vocal samples available?
Any pure electro project with trance basslines such as Franky Beckers's? etc etc

So my point is that trancers actually can enjoy an ultimate dance experience provided on a proper way by openminded artists, labels and party organisers. And if it may concern you, this is my dream and my intention in my country. I mean to gather all dance genres within the trance community and make trance the center of Clubing/party/concert entertainment. So please don't get me wrong but i'm a total tranced up person.

there you go. Sarcasm constitutes degradation attempt. Let me represent the other coin's side and reminding them how special they REALLY are or CAN become

On the ironic posts of the mod regarding geographical references and sarcastic comments about "centers of the world".

Why are you people arguing over such a ridiculous topic? I mean like taste in art or anything else for that matter, saying that X are better dancers than Y is prepostorous because IT IS ALL SUBJECTIVE!!!

Kako, why do you even argue with these folks, their opinions and tastes are obviously written in stone and good for them, no use trying to convince these folks

Personally, nothing beats some good ol' fashioned country western squaredancing Everything else is just kicking up some dust!!!

ps. In related news, are trancers the best masturbators? I think so (Who comes up with these topics?)

02 - Yes : Red Seal, Le Peuple de l'Herbe, High Tone and the numerous projects making Psy-dub or Elektrodub

03 - Yes : Marc Romboy, Oliver Huntemann, Blake Baxster, Coburn, and soooo many more..

But I think I'll follow Neuromantik's advice..           .
