People don’t forget that its not about quantity its all about QUALITY!
as it stands today I am very happy with everything that’s happining in the techtrance scene… to name a few positive things, soon there will be new mindblowing albums from X-Dream, Midimiliz, The Delta (Der Interpret), Metalogic and Fuzzion!! we just have to have a little bit of patience

i think that even in darkest and monotinic trance you can find melodies!
but first of all it has to be produced good!
and there is always scene for all kinds of music stiles people!!

just because the melodies aren't filled with cheeze doesn't meant they are not present in techtrance.. the harmonic structure of the sounds used in techtrance is melodic enought to reach down inside me in the most deepest spots..
If you can't find meaning in techtrance, don't listen to it.. and to say stuff like "techtrance attracts a certain crowed of people that fight all the time".. thats too bad i guess.. and i hope that this happens only in portugal, because here in Montreal, techtrance and psytrance dance hand in hand. (although there is much more psy than tech)...

Well, though the fact that only taste is the issue here, hod gavriel is right.
its a fact, music = melody, thats it !
mozart and beethoven are the greatest composers of all times, and they made pure music.

i like some detroit techno.. its awesome that the groove moves along in sometimes unusual patterns shifting up and down and around and out in subtle ways... sometimes i dont know if the changes are in my head of in the music heheh. . .because of so much repitition...
but another thing i dont like about techno is that it gets a little boring if not mixed well and there is a completel lack of melody or midrange or nice changes in mood... a little linear...
so i tihnk someone can maqke ROCKING music which is unlike any music made before if they get creative...
also some of the fullon tracks that have a nicer groove just blown my mind...
i like the idea of tech trance ... coz iuts best of both worlds... but only sometiems i get a little bored and need more twisty psy in tech trance |

and just aswell as trying to avoid cheeze melodies,
there is also the capability of using a sound which then thats sounds is turned into notes, then just getting notes of a synth now thats easy which everyone can DO (getting notes of the synth )
And an other thing !! when you start making music then complain how much you want,cause then you would know what it takes, until then shut up and listen.

First of all... People fighting at parties has nothing to do with the music.. just means the people coming to the parties where u ( dont remember who wrote this ) go, are fukk ups... Just 'cause some people cant find the melodic aspect of tech trance doesnt mean that its not there.. im not trying to put full on down, im also into full on, but prefer tech... but these days everybody's into full on, and there for tons are being released, and there for more low quality, non original assembly line trax... And non-popular music (not-mainstream) usually have the tendency of being more original, more experimenting... My point is just that it sucks that prog house people have their parties, full on people, have tons of parties, and psy people have their parties... but i where i live there are never tech parties.. maybe once a year delta or x-dream may sneak their way into a full on party... but no other names... most people here already labeles tech trance as something they dont like.. but whenever a track is played, they go of...

if you really like the techy and dark side of psy,, then check out new collaboration act RAM (NRS & Scorb together),, they have an album comin in about a month on NEXUS MEDIA,,, powerful music for sure

Techtrance is just in dipers now,its evolving and developing.As time passes more and more people are starting to like techtrance so there will be more releases in the future i assuem.Im happy with the situation the way it is now,4-5 releaes a year makes me happy  becuse after all i realy dont want techtrance to be a "trend" like some styles (Dark psy).
