why people here is too radical?

Hi everybody, I have noticed a lot of people here is like very purist.
C'mon its not supossed this culture stands for openess and friendship?
I think all electronic music is part of a single movement each one with his own sound and icons. From psy to drum'n bass, dub, minimal, hardance, even house.
Raves started with techno no?
Look at boom festival they now have 4 stages with different kind of music.
I think clossing the dooor to other forms of expressions can only result in a loss.
So why people take so a hard stand againt no psy music here?

well this is basically a forum for psytrance. Theres lots of other forums on the net for other styles of music. its good to be open minded to other types of music, i love techno, house, dub as well, but this is a forum for psy. and we are all psy lovers so thats why we come here. so if we start posting stuff for other types of music, then there would be WAY too many threads!! so no information overload pls, too many threads as it is!!, isratrance = psytrance (& chillout)

Well there are lots of people here who listen to much more than psychedelic trance, but after all this is a forum dedicated to psychedelic trance and art. there are 3 sections within isratrance that discuss electronic music, chillout, and world music.

domino effect!
somebody starting to bash genreartist....others trying to bash other artistsgenres....or some thing like that LOL.....it's plain stupid
anyway....if you look at music reviews section there is many non psychedelic albums wich was made by artists that created psychedelic trance in the past!
i support those artists and reviews in isratrance
one of the reasons .. is because they started their career from nothing.....they played in small clubs and private nature parties....and usualy not for the sake of money! now they playing in huge festivals in front of thousands of ppl!
and i proud to say that small psyscene created one of the biggest names in electronic music . www.myspace.com/aliasix |

I also think that by time more people will realise how serious and professional this scene can be. How to make special moments of pure intense happiness through music nature and psychedelic atmosphere. The problem rises only when people are talking about music, what i mean is that it is taken as a competition instead of a way, a path that we can all follow together to achieve different levels of pure moments. The Ego of a person rises then the psychedelic in him goes down because Ego and psychedelic are 2 different levels and cannot go together.

I think most of you are overlooking this case... The topic name is: "why people here is too radical?" and it is clear in many topics that people are radical in their musical stance, classic examples: full on is dead, progressive is shitty house/electro and dark is just bad mastered distortion.
I think the topic is valid, and that its message is "each of us have their own taste, but we should be able to accept and tolerate others' opinions and tastes".

Can we than talk about black/death metal since we will tolerate others?
I think this is a trance forum - only trance discussed. If I want to read about "shitty house/electro", I will go to shitty house electro forum.
