Doesn't count. It's divided into a lot of tracks. If this counts then Jaia's album is one track too. So it doesn't count. One of the longest tracks in psytrance ever was made by Elysium. It's called "journey" and was 44 minutes long. Check here: http://www.discogs.com/release/232735
Outside of psytrance there are lots of examples of long single tracks though.

Well .. Its not matter at all and its all about what u
have to say at this specific track & story . We have
6 and 7 and 8 and 9 and 10 and more .... Its more
about ideas , Experience & mood at time when you
are sit and produce , Nothing more .

anything less than a six minute song wouldn't fit enough into it, it would have to be packed with things changing 4-8 measures at a time and would move WAY too quickly
6-8 minutes is usually a good length for a song in that sense, and like i've seen a few times in this thread, anything over about 10 minutes doesn't work out very well for DJs |

i'm not sure if i just got something messed up from slsk or what, but the first song from the new album, Decoy - Not Responding To Light, says it's about an hour and fifteen minutes long..
i checked in wmp, and it does keep going, but i'm not sure if this is some stupid thing done by somebody that doesn't know how to rip or what, and i wansn't able to confirm with discogs, there aren't any times on the page..
anyway, anyone know if this is the way it is or not? |

What you have is an album rip. Shame on you. If you actually bought the cd you would see that is it IS individual tracks.

Thanks for that..
I don't have money to buy every psytrance album i'd like to, but i'm an artist and i learn from listening. Please understand that i want to support artists. It would take an extremely self centered person to expect EVERYONE to buy their album after hearing some 4 minute demo of one song...I know if i had a release out i'd want people to listen to and enjoy the music, regardless of how they got it. Don't criticize me not knowing my situation at all.
And by the way, you aren't looking at what i wrote at all..I know that the album is individual tracks, the album i have is 1:15:52 on JUST THE FIRST TRACK, which is what i was bringing up..
