I think rich brought up a very strong question. I believe that there are more organizers like the ones he describes than we would all like to admit (and they exist everywhere).
So now we have somewhat of a double-edge sword. We could boycott events to prove our point but then we would miss out on acts that we wanted to see. On the other hand if the organizers make money from us at these events, they would then have more money to continue with their habits.
Recently, people have been discussing cooperation - everyone working to together for one cause (in this forum and even in this thread). Once again I must say that talk is cheap. There are too many organizers like the ones rich described for them to suddenly change their ways over night, most of them don't even really want to cooperate, it's just another cool thing for them to say. I know that sometimes people do work together but even in those cases, it is mostly an "on the suface cooperation" that doesn't last because it is not real and it usually ends in dispute about who gets how many peices of the "pie" even when there isn't a "pie" at all.
In order to work together people must be good at their core... and It's not always possible to transform "bad" into "good".
Where does that leave us?
Unfortunately for us, I think that eventually trance will become bigger and more commercial and when that happens, organizers such as the ones we see now may become extinct. Another thing that will become extinct is the special atmosphere that we see at parties (mostly created by the atrists and the people).
My bottom line is: for this scene to continue growing while maintaining it's unique charachter, organizers everywhere have a true responibilty to the people to work together, but they still don't get it. Continuing their ways could eventually cost the Trance scene it's unique vibe and charachter and turn it into something disasterous, but quite honestly, I think it's going in that direction...

i dont know what kind of trance do you mean, but i am DEADLY sure in my core that PSYchedelic music will ALWAYS be undergroung!!!!

Psychedelic music is within the true nature of human beings. It is more powerful than any other creation of the corporate modern machine. which in nature is unatural and temporary.
So I do not think psychedelic music is underground, on the contrary. If some ppl were not slaving millions we would all be psychedelic. This ppl slave us by creating a sensory illusion , controlling our construct of reality and attaching us to the material by shear fear and pleasure. This control shatters the individual freedom of expression and the true humanity and uniqueness within us, by standarizing our very own way of thinking. This distancing from the ego and the constant bombarment of massages on how live should be, makes us sleep in an standarized world of regular square patterns and mechanical thoughts.
We are all in nature unique and psychedelic, don't let them make you think we are a minority. We are not underground, but we are the last breath of true humanity in this post-modern world
