why do i get the feeling- many people on this forum are not the people going to parties currently?

That's a good point asking, Ocelot.
There is a huge difference between home listening and party dancing.
Music for the mind and music for the body (the best is both).
I go to parties very often that's why i prefer more music that you can dance than music that is for mind questioning.
Although the combination is pure magic but very hard to find........

Well... this weekend we have Krumelur and Kroppssprak live in a club. Of course there will be a lot of lollytrancers around, but with the chicks and the buddies, I'll be easily dancing like nobody is watching =]
Now that the scene in my city is very popular, just the "can't miss" artists get my atention. |

imo this music just screaaaams for you to dance like a loon !Seriously, people sud go to parties as often as possible cause then you will see its more that just music, its a whole different world! Like that xdream track - we created our own happiness

in the north part of mexico, sonora, the party were great, the people awsome, the vibe was incredible, party were held every weekend with local djs and lives, but then the police fuck it up.
now they are fake party selling presales tickets, cholo promoters,
small partys at bars with really great music and artists are still going..but tripin in the desert o just taking a walk are simple thing that estimulate you in an outdoor party.. really miss'em... i haven't assisted to a great party since sep 15..

Here in Malta we are the only organizers of psytrance events and right now we are getting very lazy because we have to do everything from organising the parties to organising the music. We are only a few dj's and producers and so our scene is small and so it has been many years partying together. lately we got a bit tired of looking for music that satisfies our tastes and so our last party was NYE. Now we are organising an event in a club on the 5th April and will organise hopefully some outdoor events in summer soon...It's a lot fo work more than a full time job and we earn nothing concerning money but we gain experience and a great time so it's worth it sometimes its trance. We also go to many festivals in europe for partying but haven't been to one lately cause we were busy completing our sound! Now that we are ready to hit the world stages we found another problem!- Promoting the project and trying to get some gigs to play the music we worked for so hard so many years! It's difficult all the time to make this dream come true but we belive in Trance and love it so much that we will never give up until it's back! For all of us to enjoy and then it will be the time to dance again!

i go to parties about once a month sometimes it takes longer times not going to a party and sometimes i party for a long time non-stop talking about spychedelic parties now then i go to other parties from home parties to bar parties and club patrties i like to go to parties and if i hit every party available then i might drop into a real nice party and im happy till the next party...

March has been nuts for parties here in Toronto... one or even two parties every weekend. By the end of it all I will have attended 6 events and DJ'd at 3 of those. I'd say I am very connected to the party experience!

well here in europe winter just passed and as i only go to outdoor parties.......currently it has been a while since the last one....(forgotten madness, goa in ny)....
new outdoor season started a few weeks ago....but got busted by the bloody pigs going to the party.....but dont you worry they wont scare me off....!!
its just that most parties like the music turned commercial....clubs, amphetamins, fashion, and europoptrance....need a little more selection....!!!
but hey ocelot...when you visit us here in italy ill always be there....
