not attending a ton of parties ,mostly when traveling .. goa etc .. not involved in any sort of local scene .. whats the point of this survey tho ? not allowed to have an opinion if ur not a weekend trancer or what ?

maybe cash is the problem. concerning me, i dont have much freaks to go with to swedish psytrance-parties.
but on the other hand, i got some nice gigs to look forward to, so thats nice |

The number of parties increased enormously in the past few years, so for many people, going to a party is no more a rare opportunity . as a result, many became more selective. For other people there is not much happening in their country of residence (like myself). I still enjoy going to festivals, because it has magical vibe, and so much diversity. few years ago, i used to travel and make sure to go to as many parties as possible. Now i prefer to hang out with friends, and just have a good time:) I think i'm just getting older |

Also with the increase in the number of parties, there are very few organizers who maintain a consistent quality standard - sound, deco etc. & even the intentions behind the party (when it gets too commercial you see many people can't afford it). However, most importantly, the vibe at parties in some places has severely deteriorated, for example in India, which is why many people who have been dancing over the past 6-8 years don't go to parties any longer...
Hope the situation improves...

Not many good parties around me as well 
so I travel for festivals and mainly enjoy it there.
But somehow I think this way is better for me to keep the balance, cuz if I live in a place with so many good parties, I might just party nonstop till I die 
I love festivals  and I love dancing YAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Change the Vibe , Save psytrance. Psy will always be there , apparently the psytrance can fade. |

No vibe is not death, simply many of us has become selective with parties, we look parties with the real good vibes.
Over the time one knows promoters who are really professional and have a commitment with the public and the others who just seek money.
And I think one of the most important factors in choosing parties is the music. Usual line ups with a lot of cheesy full on, not even 1 artist that worth the ticket  .

Yes > one has to be very selective where you choose to dance to great psy music with a great crowd & location etc.. there are many good festivals around the globe though, so don't be too disheartened - because as many others believe > dancing on psychedelics is our birthright & is a very natural practise !!!! many many people are waking up to this experience & realisation... it's all going to take off - & soon... |

well i go to partys somthing like 15 years now...and after many many years i can tell you all that without a doubt you need to be high never mind with what,every thing goes,to enjoy the party...it is not a question of age or anything...just the "sootul".
 the Bass Blasts all around u !!!

Hello ppl, here it is a nice topic.
About me personally, i pure and simply have lost the interest in go to the majoraty of the parties.
The sound suck`s, the vibe is no longer there, so i just prefer to select really well the parties i go, or pure and simply make parties with my friend`s.
It`s bad that the scene have reach this point, but hopefully, better days will come

yeaaa maybe the closest location with killah parties left and that would be around 4 hours flight to get there from my location... what else to comment here
the places with kept vibe and spirit are a few left around EU; to go to Russia or Ukraine or India visa is needed; America is fu**ing so far to go just for a party
