o rly, now ur getting technical right there sam i am. This may become ye old chickin and eggg. So what DOES everyone get into? That was rhetoric obviously. When did psytrance start to get so average at parties? I may have meant normal like a washing machine psycle. Was it when the Djs and promotors realised the crowd had to be pleased? o i know, it was the old... a good dj reads the dancefloor right? Thank fuk hallucinogen listened to the crowd, otherwise that creativity would have been stunted. no wait up, i said that all wrong didn't i?
new topic. Does the dancefloor REALLY know what it's getting? In my experience the dang promotors/organsiers aren't always certain... for name artists i mean, so what were we speaking of?? o yea... who cares? the dancefloor ? Or the performers? Chickin or the egg? |

I like Aussie prog and not cos everybody gets into it... Artists such as SCS, Sensient, Tetrameth, Shadow FX, Tristan Boyle, Product Placement, One Tasty Morsel, Autonomech are all definitely worthy of the label awesome in my opinion  |

Exactly! I mean how would you feel when everyone is dancing and sexing it up all around you to this music that you don't even really like and you're not getting any of the action you'd be bit pissed at not getting of the "boom" action
As for me, nothing like some nice music that get's the ladies and also bloke grooving on the dance floor.
Not my true preferred style, I do enjoy the darker and more psychedelic aspect (but psychedelic again is a personal thing isn't it?) of the night psy subgenres, but hey what the crowd wanteth the dj giveth

Actually usually i find the problem (and this seems to be an international thing), is too many dark lovers do parties with dark psy as the parties only sound, over all other styles.
People like dark a whole lot more when it's not the only thing they hear, so when they see line-ups which exclusively are one style people usually go elsewhere or don't go anywhere at all (this applies to other styles too..).

yup. a party/doof should be a journey, not just gig of the promoters favorite styles. Night psy should be played at night time. |
