Because it's the rhythm of life
Because it represents the way nature evolves
Because it represents the world of today and tomorrow and not that of yesterday
People who listen to classic rock (for example) live in sort of a time bubble, there is nothing wrong with this music but it is not going to help you reflect on today's society.
Trance is just a great as technology, just a scary as technology, just as noisy as the tokyo metropolis, just as powerfull as a natural disaster, just as happy as birth, just as dark as war, just as sad as death, just as beautiful as nature, just as light as love!
Trance reaches, trance teaches,
trance moves, trance soothes,
trance deceives, trance relieves,
trance captivates, trance motivates
ohh my first poem!

You didn´t understand the idea at all.
Of course the enviroment is not the factor that makes you choose for a certain kind of music but maybe you develop interest in an certain type of music because your friends listen to it or because you went to a party
for the first time and you really enjoyed dancing to that music,etc...
In my world that doesn´t make you closed minded but open minded!

i guess all was said before, and i will not repeat, i agree with most of what the members said.
but i chose not to live the psychedelic life, because unfortunatly i dont have the luxury to live it, i'm faced by the harsh reality of life and responsibities. but yes i do try to take the positive energy of the music, as much as possible. |

I love this music because it carries me away beyond the constraints of everyday life, I feel that somehow my inner energy connects and travels with these crazy, hypnotic sounds that constantly amaze and heal and make me laugh, make me smile, make me sad, or scared or whatever..
I believe this music emcompasses all the sounds of the universe, from the smallest pebble splashing and causing ripples in a pond, or an awesome electric storm tearing through some mountain peaks... and because of this, this inclusion of every possible sound from this world and beyond, it gives me no choice but to connect with all these vibrations in some way.
Actually, if I think about it , no other music can amaze me like this; and we all like to be amazed don't we ?! I listen to many other styles of music, and actually not so much trance these days, mainly ambient and chill-out, but when I hear full, pumping, twisting , incredible trance music - I simply have no choice but to dance!!

Don't know, from the first time i heard it, it just latched onto me like a freakin leech and the damn thing won't let go.
All i hear in my head these days is kicks and basslines and some weird fucking noises!

It is a way too SMASH - BLAST And CRASH the Dancefloor. . .
It is the hapinees inside you the ather day. . .

When I was younger, I used to listen to techno/hardhouse music. I loved the party situation, the vibes and I discovered the greatness of feeling things while dancing. By these days, some friends showed me tracks like The muses rapt - spiritual healing, Astral Projection - Mahadeva or some by Man with no name that were played at techno parties/raves too. That tracks were psytrance, but I didn't know it, just enjoyed them as I only was thinking in having fun with the party situation and didn't realize they weren't techno. One day, some friends decided to go to a trance party. It was my first psyparty and my first outdoor party, and still is one of the best experiences I've ever had. Since then I've been fascinated with this music. It's perfect to dance to, it makes me feel weird things that almost anyother type of music can. Since then I've been really into this music, have read many things, have been interested and have learnt a lot of things. But I've realized that you can't only wake up, listen to trance, eat, listen to trance, sleep, go out with your friends and been thinking on when's the next party. I had a time when I only thought about tance all day... But there are a lot of things to do out there, I'm now studying a career and want to have a good job in the future. So I try to be serious and responsable when it's time to do it, and be happy/relaxed and have fun with trance when it's time to do it too  |

its the cure thru this music I travel thru time and obsever engergy postive energy
plus most of this music has no lyrics so u r one who can add ur own lyrics to it or let ur mind speak to the music
u never get bored from it suits anytime, anyplace and its mysticla, spiritual and goes with everything decor, nature and your own imagination u can dance alone or with the crowds u feel the energy u can feel the vibe

dub....
most forms of synthesizer music... simply gives the kick to my head, twists my nerve cells n gives me that feeling of total connection!
