For me its a no choice situation, from the first time i heard my first track in 97 this music has barbwired itself around me, i cant stop listening to it.
The music does'nt stop coming, its only getting better.

Do we really choose what music to love? Do we really choose what to feel? Music is about emotions. Can u wake up one day and say: "yes, today I'm gonna love hip hip, and tomorrow heavy metal?
The music finds its way to us!
Can one make himself fall in love with any girl? No!

yes you make sense in a way .. but for me its about choice .. i get up thinking what will make me happy today .. not expecting but just knowing that this will be good for me today .. even if someone pays me million bucks to go spend a night in a club where hip hop is playing i will think five times because i have chosen not to love it .. i dnt know maybe its something to subjective we talking about here .

The important thing is to be true to yourself. There are ppl that love music for the wrong reasons. Some styles of music can be status symbols. There is a way to love music with the brain. And there is a way to love music with the heart. With the brain I can love all kinds of music in the world. With my heart I can love only what makes me feel.
And yes u are right. It's a subjective thing.

That makes a lot of sense to me! Of course our musical taste and the way we experience music is influenced by the way we grow up, the people we relate to, where we live and a million other factors. So we don´t really choose what music we like but our enviroment and our life story chooses for us.

Same thing in my case about trance. No one around me loves this music. But sometimes environment has influence. It's depend on the person.
One can choose to search for any kind of music. But to love music it's the part of his emotions that he has no control on.
