Eskimo.
He always ignites the dancefloor since he is having just about as much fun as the crowd. His enthusiasm is what makes his live act so fun.

I saw Rob Acid (old school psychedellic techno) live recenlty... a bnch of 303's, 909, 808, mixing deck, sampler heaps of fx units... all live... actually I think he touched the laptop twice during the whole live set, the rest of the time was using the equipment... jeez... maybe 99% of the producers in the psy scene could learn something from him HAHAHAHAHA...
yeah right... pressing play and going to the bars is much easier eh psy producers here? |

well, sorry to dissapoint you but Rob Acid's music is very simplistic and it uses very few instruments or sounds effects..also most of the songs uses the classic TB 303 sound so there is not such big variations of sounds in the tracks as in psytrance...
You can not make comparation between acid -Techno music and psytrance, because psytrance is much much more complex, and it use ten times more instruments, effects, samples, etc...also the sound quallity of psytrance music ask more than an old distorted 909 kick and a monophonic 303 sound.
To make a 99% psytrance live act , you must be J.M Jarre maybe, and not Rob Acid...and if you are J.M Jarre than your live will cost more than 100.000 euro and nobody will ever book you.
So let's be seriouse and get back on planet Earth.
Nobody asked a 99% live act because it's almost impossible to be done.
  NEW ALBUM OUT SOON !!!

Haven't seen too many 'live' sets these days that involved more than a laptop, so I have to remember back 5 years ago and say SUN Project
and even Penta, back when he was first in the US, playing on the small stage the first night of the Fusion Festival I forget what year. With his fresh-off-the-boat mullet haircut he put on an amazing set with keyboard and some funny voice tube thing.
Oh and was it Son Kite or Vibrasphere who played the electric violin live? That was cool. |

Im not a fan of Sun Project but i have to say that after 14 years of parties and Festivals, they put up one of he best live acts i ever seen...killer sequences, massive energy and 4000 people jumping - this was some time ago.
Lately the best i´ve seen was Parasense and Talamasca - Cedric is crazy intense!!!! |
