full on is the same as minimal ?? I would say its the opposite man !!!

Full-on - full power with maaaaany layers with sound, hard fat pumping bass drum .. mmm so good (IMHO)

OK, the opposite of minimal is Finnish trance, not full-on. Just listen to some Eraser vs. Yojalka to understand what I mean. Full-on, despite what many people here say does NOT have many layers of sound - take away the percussion and bass, you've got about the same amount of layers as minimal (compare Parasense with XV Killist, Penta with Shiva Chandra and so on) - just minimal is much more controlled and erm... minimal.

The term full-on was there in 95, of that I'm sure. Don't know who came up with it, when it was invented or anything at all other than the fact it existed back then.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

The term was there before 94, I was hearing the term 'full on techno' in 92, and 'full on rave' before that. Full on this and that for over 10 years...           Turn On, Tune In, Trance Out!!!

dont catch me on that, but i can reffer the term full-on to all the kind of music that while production sessions/mixing all the chanells on the arrangement/setup hit the higher roof and pumping one into each other without leaving too much space in the soundscape, and still becoming a mix and not a mistake in a mix.
