Which state(s) in US is the most active?

I would like to know which state(s) there has the most active scene.
People party etc.

with out a doubt California.
Ca is fortunate 2 have 2 very active scenes. SF and LA, as well as a few smaller local scenes in places such as Santa Barbara and Humboldt

New York City has a pretty active scene as well.. as you can see from the endless bickering in the threads above. 
though the rest of NY state is eh.. snowed in. 
..it's just another party.. |

well, other than these two states, where else would we say?
there are monthly events in a few states with mostly locals and what else?
i know here in tx we had, last year... 5 or 6 major parties... haha, major as far as artists go, not turnout!

About NYC I have read an older topic in trance section.
Good vibes but not so much people. Correct me if I am wronk.
When you talk about California SF or LA how many ppl attent to a usual party?
Is any pure psy club there or you must find different places every time?

SF parites vary alot. The average indoor is about 200 people, but large indoors and clubs can get up to 1200.
There are also undergrounds that range from 30-100 people and outdoors such as Goa Gil and Symbiosis that get over 600.
Our weekly usually gets about 150-200 everywednesday night.
I cant speak to much on LA indoors but the ranch parties seems to average between 400-800 with the larger getting over 1200.

Psy-less US states...correct me if I'm wrong...
Alaska, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming.
To my knowledge, every other state has/had at least one crew producing psytrance events, or at least one dj who plays psytrance at mixed genre events on a semi regular basis...
....looks like we'll be sending Billy to the Dakotas

I've seen old flyers from South Dakota raves with psytrance DJs on them.. been a while though.
Also there's a bit of psy in Utah as well. Though probably far from a 'scene.'

I am in total amazement when i read about parties in SOUTH DAKOTA and UTAH? UTAHHH? That is so crazy. How would psytrance get there? Those are in a way very isolated states in many ways.
