Japan looks like a far cry from what it used to be. Whatever happened to Visionquest and Solstice?

I heard from friends that in Belgium there are great parties...they were recently there and expirienced sth special.they are each weekend somewhere but talked about belgium in best words. oldschool goa style like back in the days..actually we planned to drive these days there but Im too busy in hamburg.
Maybe there were more parties in the past ..but there definetly are still some good ones as I heard.          https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Yeah some friends of mine from Australia recently went to Belgium & said the goa parties they attended there this summer were regular and amazing.

We have pretty regular indoor & outdoor gigs here in Australia, my only qualm is that like much of the scene in general now-a-days the music is far from the original psychedelic trance sound and has become more a fusion of the popular electronic music styles with a hint of psychedelic.

I haven't gone for a fair while as even though I enjoy the music for what it is, I just feel no connection to the people or the scene anymore.           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

well Belgium had a really developed and diverse scene, you could have each weekend from soumi. goa, full on to most underground style.
nowdays there are maybe 1 or 2 parties per month, and mainly oldschool / full on.
basicly when you have been to one party is like you have been to all, so the scene is dying in belgium compared to what it was 5 years ago.
well why?? the older generation getting too old, and the new one is not there yet>?? maybe...           to use your head you have to go out of your mind

With big commercial MTV pop festivals and a majority of countries with no or very few parties the scene is stone cold dead!
