We keep our agreements, and aslong as we havent released any track from you its far from your business.

Ofcourse it dont sound good.. when the same artists as the ones complaining keep "stealing" (downloading/sharing) music its like they are pissing on their own legs or something like that. See my point?

ya.... when i started a topic about the fact i decided not to download music and programs AT ALL, i was just laughed at and/or flamed.
donno who you are talking about dennis, but for sure this is a problem in itself.
i am not sure though, how much it has to do with labels living up to thier contracts with artists.

well, one problem leads to another and that's "When it get's Ugly"..
Ofcourse labels should keep their promises, with or without contracts. But one thing can easy lead to another and so on, its like a bad circle.
i hope you see my point, not all of you are trading but i know by fact that some artists are really into this. and there are even some "trusted" people sharing stuff on the net before the release. Its a fact, and this is probably where it starts to get ugly?
So whats this gotta do with artists not getting payed? Well maybe the labels cant afford to keep their agreements when things get ugly.
Imagine how many cd's would be sold if 5 Downloads/Swaps would be 1 sold cd.. Im quite sure any label could afford to pay off their artists.
I might be wrong, this is just a theory.. but it makes some kind off sense to me..

When the shit hits the fan it sais *splatt* and makes a mark on the wall for everyone to see and smell. Better wash it off good so that people doesn't start jabbing about how stinky you are
