your comments are patronising offensive and judgemental. because you assume people do not listen with their heart just because someone likes originality in music. It does not imply they dont have feelings for music or passion. In fact it is an indicator of their passion and love for the music that they wish for it to constantly evolve and not become a relic of the past.
Perhaps if I had said that i like innovative music that has heart you would understand better.
And just because YOU dont enjoy experimentation in music doesnt mean that everyone else is the SAME AS YOU !!! shock horror !!!! Nor does it mean that anyone who is not EXACTLY the same as you is a sad person.
Some of the most emotional music i have ever heard - which brought me to tears - was also very experimental, the experimental sounds allowed the artist to express some of the more obscure emotions of the heart.
For me the heart is the most important thing in music as well, so we dont agree, however as well as emotion I also look for innovation in music, often they come hand in hand.
I see you are passionate about music - that is good - but your assumption that others are less so without even asking them first is presumtious, ignorant and ego centric.
Let me guess - someone told you yourfavourite track was unoriginal or something ??
and who the hell is yahel ?

Hehehe, dude... you're just misreading. Read my post again and you'll know. I never said I didn't like originality in music. Me listening to all kinds of experimental music should already prove otherwise. And as the little 'tongue' figure indicated you shouldn't take what I said so seriously. Read between the lines man. I'm just sick of people always moaning and bitching about originality in music, and somehow losing touch with the feeling of it as well. I gave MY opinion and I'm entitled to it. You have yours, that's fine, let's keep it at that. Oh, and if you don't even know who Yahel is, where have you been in this scene?

I think the new album from orion is very good and much psy,although I find a few proggresive elements on that album,I also like cyberdelia as a much psy full of mellodies,and also cosmic tunes looks to me nice and psy.Brain cells reminds me goa style and surely much psy.

I dont think me or anyone else on this thread was moaning or complaining. The Psytrancescene often comes up with original stuff which is why I asked the questiopn in the first place !!! ????
So youve given your opinion so suggest some bands !
Just for you Ill ask a different question - what really moves your soul at the moment, what tunes if any are around at the moment which could reduce you to tears (of joy or sadness) .... comon time to put your tunes where your mouth is (=;
It is ridiculous to see cubase and fruity loops as competitors. Although there are overlaps they are different programmes that are usful for differentthings . You know you can rewire fruity loops into cubase ? They are not competitors but work in tandem. |
