it's time to move on...

create your own reality and be yourself

getting stuck is never a way to find satisfaction, even the way you think can change drastically when you understand that reality is subjective.

change in music is a change of time and spirit

the human race has always looked for a better way of livin'..when we feel the will to be nice persons(like let out all the materialism shit, go inside our selves, reach all the things we want to be, do, and see(like a niechtze superman), we feel very attached to the psyculture..of course this isn't our everyday bread..but isn't that what we like, even if it don't get us much things that we are used to do in past, it brings us the most wonderfull sensation..that is to be complete with something..in this case..i think..everything.of course every year it passes, every year is worse(for me), but..if i beleive in something should i give up on it?should i try to get all (even it's few) good things that i can find in the scene..i don't mind doin that..and livin less satisfied..things were, arn't and will never be perfect..the perfection is our work to find it..everyone by it self..it's a subjective thing..so..if everyone who is unsatidfied by all tha changes..i think the better way is to beleive(and do for it) in somethin very hard..and yah, things happen..the change, i guess, will be for a better psy scene..and the aliens are always here..they just show up..when pop shut down

Quoting Shpongle doesn't pay the rent either, but that's what a lot of people here seem to be doing...           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

As Saint-Exupery said: "Things do not change. We change." I don't agree completely, but it seemed like a good quote for the occasion as we all like quotes so much.
In reality, things change too, everything does. The problem with the statement is the juxtaposition between people and things changing. Things cannot change without us changing.           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

I don't agree with the theory of nothing much changed and that it is just the people changing, getting older and "more mature" at all.
First of all, I don't think that it is a sign of maturity to not believe in ideals of the psychedelic culture and second I am very certain that the goa/psytrance scene has indeed changed quite a lot.

Freedom, anti commercialism and idealistic views were not just a marketing gag, but were very much a reality in the early days of goa.
There were a few years when the music was not for sale, the parties were all for free, when people were sharing and having ideas of creating a better world and it had a strong influence on many peoples view of looking at the world and their lifes and how they actually live it.
Unlike now the goa/psy scene back then did "deliver on these promises of a free, non commercial and openly evolving scene..."
Still today a lot of the "old-timers" are carrying this spirit inside of them and spreading the vibe, if it is in converstions, or on the dancefloor.
It's just that there are so many people nowadays listening to goa/psy, that lack any kind of spiritual experience related to it and who don't have any interest in a psychedelic culture as such, that the vibe of those that do gets lost in the 'mess'.
Another thing that has certainly changed is the quality and choice of drugs the people are consuming. That has a very strong effect on the atmosphere on a party/festival, as well as on the attitude and character of the people.
It used to be mainly psychedelics and nowadays it is all kinds of weired substances, often mixed up and used in an irresponsible way and yeah, that can indeed create a quite messy vibe.

And why do some of you think that "goodwill and PLUR doesn't pay the rent"? Do you nowadays have to be an asshole to earn money? I don't think so.

People have changed, yes, but not necessary the old ones.
I haven't changed in the way I enjoy the music and the dance and I still believe in ideas of peace love and understanding.

Thank you my brother, now I really don't need to reply... Everything you said is TRUE .
I find it rather distressing that people can think that ideals like love and goodwill can ever be wrong or a sign of “immaturity”. That is the exact reason that our scene is going backwards…
Again thank you @pointy.
