Base Is Important Thing Also The Melodies

But The Most Important Thing In The Track Is The

Pschedelic Energy In it So The Sound And The Rest Need to be clear and groove but with some more morbid weirdo and psychedelic sounds in it.

I personally would find it criminal for someone to answer "bassline" to this question.

I like my basslines to have soul and substance, not just 4 notes repeated over and over. Typical full-on psytrance "basslines" (its a stretch to even call them that) are so boring to me. Does anyone else feel this way?

i like of dark basslines.. or more groovie basslines, but the melody of the track (morning or night) it's more important than the bass... i think aggressive bass + night melody, for me it's perfect.           Obiit - Industrial Ambient

I think that bassline is very important the track based on the bassline try to dance without bassline... hehe.. impossible
so i think bassline is important but the power is the melody.

Liking a single part of the track more than the others shows that the track is bad IMO.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

I love melodies that are harmonic and very spiritual....and of course the basslines are important....nice sorta drumming ones or ones that arent the same note the whole time, it must say go for 4 beats one tone then go up a little for another 4 tones. I dig it when the bass is funky and jumpy           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears

their has to be a balance throughout the track, which will enable it to be a good track. so if you have a real groovy basline but a poor melody the track will suck.           "Great things are only possible with outrageous requests." Thea Alexander

i feel its the bassline that actually draws the line between psy trance and trance ....... and moreover any music without bass would sound like, like, like ahem i really dont know cos never heard a track without bass.........           New mixes on

Bass who has melody in it probeblly...
i agree with Ray-Man, i like (& appreciate artists that make a complex bass lines... and not just 4 nots...)
it also shows their abilities in creating complex music => for example psymusic... (but sometimes 4 nots it just what fit in the track)

and it has to be fat one too...

Protoculture has the knowledge on fat, diverse basses...           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."
