I agree with aje on this one. And Trip- sorry, I don't know what you're talking about
I remember going into the record store circa 1999 or so and picking up the Disco Slickers - I think.../The Mangler EP (Naja Records) and thinking YES, THERE IS A GOD!! For me this was the beginning of the minimal-progressive wave, a high and beautiful wave that now seems to have crashed (or sucked away by the Neo-Full-On tsunami, depending on your point of view...).
Also, 1995 was a cool year, because Hallucinogen made Twisted and that still to this day must be one of the most kick-ass records of all time. |
