Greetings isratrancers

In cooperation with Digital Oracle/Crystal Matrix and Hommega Productions (the copyright owner of 2 of the tracks) customers who bought the Digital Oracle CD from saikosounds are now able to download remastered versions of the tracks in either 256k VBR mp3 or FLAC format from the saikosounds website.

We have sent email to all our customers who bought it but several of those emails have bounced and so we are announcing it here in case some of those customers frequent this forum. Please contact us via the webform on the "talk to us" page on our website for instructions how to download.

These tracks will also be available for purchase soon when our digital distribution system is released.

You may also be interested to know that the new Digital Oracle compilation, "Revelations", which is due out soon, is mastered by Space Cat, and does not suffer from the same problem as the first comp.

Regards

Saikosounds crew.

Karma Cola of course it really really matter...and it all depends on what sound reproducer you are listening the music.
If you listen the music in crap computer monitors, of course you will not have the same perception that other person have, listening for example in good near field monitors.

whoohoo!! The GMS track sounds really sweet. A bit muddy mastering, yes. I'm no expert, but is it possible that it was done with intensions? To like make a muddy album? haha, guess not. But the GMS sample sounded lovely. And also, the Black & White sample sounds ok in my ears. Like the "bad" mastering creates a bit more 3D world because some sounds stand out a bit more. Creating " that " feeling. Oh well, I'm no expert. But whats best? SUPER perfect mastering that sounds all plastic and steril, or a bit muddy mastering that might sound "wrong", but still more "alive"? jaja, i dont know.

over & out

PS. My sample listening on psyshop was done with a crappy internal soundcard and a couple of cheap, but not bad head-plugs.
I can imagine that the sound quality doesnt sound goody good on sweet monitors and big sound systems, but it seems to be ok on regular headphones. Not the point, eh?

digital oracle always have bad masterings.. i have to crank up the gains on my mixer just to get it to sound ok, volume wise.. I love the label and there releases, but man, just do a simple WAVE HAMMER is sound forge at the worst case..           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! How in the name of TrippyJohnny did you manage to realise that the mastering is not that bad by listening to Psyshop samples through internal soundcard and cheap headphones???           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

The point is that if you are not a pro you can barely notice the mastering with an average system and by playing the Original CD. You were listening 40sec with a seriously lossy bitrate... It's a miracle you hear something with their previews.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
