What the hell is going on with the Line-Ups lately ?!?

It seems like no one cares about the music that is playing, but only about Stage Names that bring crowd and money?
I saw in the last few days several partys - Dark & Full On, sticking in the line up a Minimal-Tech artist.
If this is for the diversity of music - then why isn't there any Breaks/Dub/House/Electro or whatever else music???
Only the Minimal-Tech... (which is becoming "mainstream"??)

"42" , Good party are build up and combine of a several styles in - Techtrance/Minimal Tech/Progressive at the beginning , Some Dark (2/3 Am to 5) , FullOn at the morning time , chill or ambient in the end . For your question , Why not ? Break beat , House & Electro - 23:00 until 24:00 can be an lovely thing , Im pro .

actualy combined parties almost never work.. i am all for homogenic parties, one crowd, one vibe, everyone is happy with all the djs and all the music throught the party, much better this way.

I wasn't talking about festivals...
And defenetly not Indigo which had MANY kinds of music. Unlike what I said- 4-5 artists of the same genere +1 completly different.

well..
i think orgenisers have to know their croud
and try to deliver the best music expiriance
that they cen.
"42" u have a point in what u sey mey be ppl
who make partys shuld think more on building up line ups in more logical wey rather then stick
one artist who hes nothing to do with the
consept of the venu.
(think of lats say.. dj zombi pley after abomination,azax,texas faggot... dj zombi)
the fact is this days that ppl are more open minded
and looking for quality much more then days befor,
this fact alows u orgenisers to be more
creative and diversed in building the line up.
so.. do it!!

i still say don't do it.
if u are a heavy metal fan, and you go pay lots of cash to see some heavy metal acts, you dont wanna get there and hear raggae.
for me big turn off, when i wait 6 hours for a set i like.

Thats true, every genre have subgenre so you can have
a party with not only one kind of music but a whole bunch of them. just choose relatevly close genres, i.e tech and progg.

well..
i think this opinions reflect a side in our
scene that is a bit wrong..
trance party is not! a music concert..
its a tribe gathering and a dancing expiriance.
for sure music meters..
but u guys forget that the cultural reason
for an amount of ppl to gather around
speakers and dance to the rithem is more
deep then listhening to this artist or another..
so that u cen do et home or enywhere alse..
our underground beats cen reflect in meny
ways.. techno,dark,psy,prog and more..
end es long as ppl are happy smyling and dancing then we acheevad our goal!
one way to look et it is to ask yourself
if u hed to choose.. then what whold u prefer?
good music.. or good ppl??
trance party is saposed to be a jurny..
just like trance making and dancing..
and if u take only one road then it whold be
colorless jurny with no diversity and learning in no way.
liking one style is cool,but u have to think in a more wide view over this things when u come to tallk about trance partys..

for me its 100% about the music, i come for the music, the rest is extra for me. music brings the vibes and together they form the experience. certain music attracts certain people.
