Ron u right .
it's not that today's music dont have the vibe , it just that it dont have a vibe like in the old track's of astral , mwnn ,etc...
i think the vibe in the old track is mostly beacuse of the beutiful melodies which we dont see anymore in new track's (not all) .
i just love melodiesssssssss , bring back the good old day's :)

I have a very good friend of mine who's quite a known d.j here in Israel and he told me that most of the tracks he puts on when he performs are a few years old and sometimes even more than that. Today, the music has become much more commercial and also it's stuck somewhere.

i agree with you all. new stuff isnt much, i mean theres some good stuff, but just now like Power Source, Astral, Juno, MWNN, Prodigy (fat of the land), Infected Mushroom (Gathering) etc.

its sad to think bout it, kinda worries me, but who knows, maybe someone will come out with a new cd that'll blow everyones minds unexpected.

From the way I see things the situation is like this:
Like in all Israeli janers, we, Israelis, have to give it with full on, full power right from the start.
It appears that the rest of the world liked the level of craziness that the Israeli artists put in the music right from the early days of the scene.
When a European opens the newspaper in the front page, the general idea that he sees is the weather report - this , if u want it or not, (again, it's my point of view) effects their music.
When an Israeli opens the newspaper he sees terrorists, bombs, traffic etc etc ( I love my country ).
I'm not saying that you don’t have an European full on, but the general idea is understood.
Now days, most of the Israeli artists r sick of the granddad full on style, and they want to compete with the European style…
As I see it, we've reached a cretin balance - new Israeli artists creating the European style, the Europeans r still making their style - we as Israelis miss the old vanished style…

Capish?

Ron, don’t worry, good old music never dies…
It's a weird circle of creation…

I see nothing crazy about 99% of the Israeli music. Strong? yeah. Stomping? sure. Azz Kikkin? definately, but it's not crazy, it's actualy quite conformative with the hard definition of Psy-Trance (what I mean is that Israelies have long ago stopped LEADING trance music into new innovative paths and has actualy become an imitator of the progressive line comming from Europe)
Say what u will, that's the way I see it.
peace

But the problem is that you can't call the european style music. It's not music! It's just grooves...

Maybe we got bored of the full on style, but it's much easier to get bored from technoprogressiveminimal style. A few track that I did like from that style got boring after a few listens, there isn't much to explore in that "music".

Now you can see people that want the vibey music back! But the only vibey music available today is old stuff, because no one makes vibey stuff today. Everyone is making boring boom tss boom tss! So we get tired of it again fast. What we need is someone to make good vibey music (me me) and that labels won't be afraid to release it! Maybe it won't sell in the beginning (we all know that labels only care for money) but then it will get more and more popular!

Just my 2 agorot.

The definition of crazy is the problem here.
All in all – I meant the same thing…

The main msg is that most of the trance music in the all world, including Israel, has the same “name”…
This is the weird balance I talked about…
