Pachoti.... or oudh... most widely used @ open air gigs
I guess the connection is very simple....
psychedelics increase the sense of smell...
so to have pleasant aromas aroud the place feels good
boom from boombay

Good smell is always cherished and ooze out good vibes, and good vibes produces good thoughts and good thoughts are mixed with substance give you psychedelic visions...so no BT anymore.
So its the connection of sense's which play's with your body.

There are two meanings to light an incense stick. Firstly its a spritual custom to light it before the respected ideal one follows. Secondly the fragnance n aroma which it radiates attracts positivity from the atmosphere n surroundings.
Long ago before getting innitiated into sprituality, the disciple used to burn these sticks before his Guru, symbolising it, or consciously contemplating in the mind that now he has burned all his worldly desires, negativity, cruel intentions, in short all negative impulses n way of living which will prove to be a resistance on his way towards spritual bliss n Self knowledge.
Other factor is the divine energies, angels, souls, which r present subtly around us which one cannot percieve wid naked eye, likes the fragnance of flowers, especially sandalwood, rose, oud, hence by fragnating the surrounding one attracts positivity. |

Also ones own mental state brightens n sort of soothes, when one personally experiences the sweet fragnance. It sorts of uplifts the serenity latent in the mind, n proves to be a good platform to begin meditation, n dive deep inside the inner realms of mind, n still it through meditational teqnics |
