What's going on with Saikosounds?

I put in an order last Friday night and it's now close of business Monday night in Hong Kong and I've heard nothing fo my order being sent? No response to email,and I'm getting very tempted to call them tomorrow... never had these problkems before, so hopfully somebody can respond here and let me know why this has happened?

I'd say take it very easy..

If there were a problem, they would surely take care of it, you don't have to worry..

VERY serious shop, thumbs up. About the email not answered, they have a rough antispam system, so maybe try again, or as you said, call them, but no need to be upset @ phone !

Yeah I've bought frm them for like the last 3 years no probs, just hoping everything isok with the guys. Very nice pople, visited them in hong kong end of 2003, was nice to buy some cd's from the shop Same prices even at retail

Had same problem but the order went through finally, after a week or so.
Just bug them on e-mail.
There are very few professionals on that business... What to do           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

yep, saiko sounds is very efficient and professional- they contacted me right away when they had problems with my order....

keep in mind that on average we will all lose 1-10 e-mails a month to the spam filters... happened to me for very important mail and i worry it will happen again. so no need to get all excited- computers, right? they have a mind of their own-

Great company. Usually delivers pretty quickly. The only problem I ever had was when I accidentally chose "courier service" and the courier couldn't find my place. I finally emailed them and they said I have to give them a better address. It took a while, but finally after much misunderstanding they told me that I had chosen courier service.

I just had my first problem with them on my last order after 3 years of awesome service.

I guess my airmail shipment is M.I.A.,and for some weird reason they were able to recieve my emails but not able to reply to me.

I had ordered it on Feb 5th, so it's been more than a month. =(

BUT today they replaced my order, and sent it by courier.

So although it sucked waiting so long, they have gone out of their way to make it right, so I am very very impressed.

Well it was sorted out so I apologise for any bad mouthing, respects to the saiko lads and look forward to blowing more precious money on plastic

Yeah Saikosounds are great.
Once I had a shipment that got lost in the mail, and they sent it to me again right away.
They have a great service and a large variety of music (not only the best sellers).

Next time talk to Rob @ Saikosounds, he's super nice.           Majority is never right!

One last thing, I'd really like to say that I'm glad this was sorted, I have spent hundred of dollars at Saikosounds for the last 2-3 year, seeing as cd's there are half the retail price here in Australia. This is the only trouble I've ever had, and they sent an apology. For perfect service and customer respect, these guys rock. Thankyou Harry and the Saikos crew and look forward to better deals in the future, no harm intended, moderators please feel free to remove this post at any point.

id say let this post be here...so that ppl can know that saikosounds provide a great service. I've never used their service, but from what i read, i guess they rock! thumbs up!           Interviewer: "So Frank, you have long hair. Does that make you a woman?"

yeah I also just had my first problem with saikosounds...

I made an order, but they didnt receive, and asked me to send again.. then I made the order again, and after sometime, I receive (and was charged) for the 2 orders!

now I just sent them an email, and are waiting for this situation to be resolved.. I dont want 2 copies of the same cds

yeah this happened to melast year, and with what happened last Friday, youre best to give them a phone call if you can, just for 5 minutes, and they'll sort it out straight away As was said above and as they told me, often public email servers don;t get through their antispam program so they'll never know if something is wrong, so it's best to actually call them.
