Propably yes, but mostly old versions havent a possibility for updates for a lower price.
So, in future it can be a uneconomic investment

And if You found a that possibility, then try to found some info about buying older software.
Some software bought from someone else is illegal.
Every software producer have its own rules           http://www.beatport.com/release/cross-the-atoms/1042450

people who uses reaper here, use it alone or with other daw rewired? I want to know if you can do everything with it as i can with fl.

I read that it doesnt have an audio editor (dont know if it has been updated) but you can do something like a ``rewire`` to an external audio editor like wavelab or soundforge, is that true?

Any more insights about this daw? I never used other daw besides fl and i want to try a diferent perception of daw, and this one is nice cause dont even need to be cracked and for what i read it goes very light with the cpu           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

I'm blown away by how many people are producing in Ableton. God, I hate everything about its production method and workflow so very much. Perhaps I'm just too set in my ways with the old traditional Cubase/Logic style DAWs.

Are people that are producing in Live learning how to produce in it or are you making the switch?

me i use Ableton Live 7 as host...perfect for me because of this absolutely superfantastic direct access into samples and stuff and a balanced cpu usage while using VSTs. and a really good automation system...

sometimes, in the right mood , i use the reason mahlstrom via rewire ! a nice one and reason has this modularity...amazing !           Radioactive.Cake - intelligent dark minimal psygressive

Wow, no "Cakewalk" users.

Back in the day Cakewalk V3 http://www.tweakheadz.com/images/CWPRO3.GIF
was my favorite midi+Hardware setup, loved that sequencer sooooo bad! then all changed with vst and strong computers, buut, today's Cakewalk latest release is amazing, I personally dont use it, but I have played around with it, sound is great, right now I have installed http://www.presonus.com/products/SoftwareDetail.aspx?SoftwareId=11 pro verion, looks really good, but in the end, Im a Cubase SX3 and Ableton user.
