i wonder... whats your favorite style other then trance? i personly into ozric tentacles(a.k.a eat static)- fila brazilia - yelefon tel aviv... kinda psy-for-home.. i rather trance on big p.a!!!

i like classical A LOT : j.s.bach,beethoven,chopin,liszt,haydn,mendelssohn,debussy ...
i also like movie soundtracks such as: spirited away, princess mononoke, forrest gump, braveheart, beautiful mind ...

massive attack, tricky, zapmama
asian dub foundation (all kinds of indian instruments
mixed with electronic stuff)
all kinds of ambient chill,
dub, raggae,
some pink floyd now and then
talking heads (!) the list goes on... (but if I look at my music these days... its 90% full on!)

These days it's mostly stonerrock in my stereo. Bands like Kyuss, QOTSA, Hermano, Honcho, Fu Manchu, Clutch, Eagles of deathmetal, Spirit caravan.
And of course the Desert sessions from Josh Homme and a bunch of various artists.

I hear ya Ulf  QOTSA are simply the best band in the world at this moment.
Also check out Belgian band Millionaire (Josh Homme is a big fan of them, and they tour with the Queens)

amon tobin,squarepusher style also play big part in my life and one more cd i discovered: "dub side of the moon" - some nice rmx's to pink floyd...

I listen to a lot of things actually.I'm a real music freak... hehehe (real music freaks dig psytrance) 
Anyway, I listen to ambient, (some) rock, techno (Autechre, Plaid etc.), (death/black) metal, synthesizer music (Jarre/Vangelis etc.) And also I really dig the progressive side of trance with DJ's like Markus Schulz, Taucher, Daniel Bruns, Sander Kleinenberg etc.
But, nevertheless, psytrance remains my alltime favourite!!
