What makes you buy a cd?

I was just wondering what makes people buy a specific cd,either a compilation or album or trance dvd.
Here are some reasons for which i have buy a cd during the past.
1.Nice and innovative cover art.
I bought cd's like Koxbox-The Great Unknown and Shiva Space Japan-Force just for the amazing cover art without knowing the music inside.
2.Impressive tracklist,specific track that i have been searching for a long time,loved artist.
I have bought cd's like Solstice-Solstice Compilation because of the tracklist that featured names like GBU,Synthetic,The Antidote and many more.
I have bought cd's like Electronic High volume 1 by Solstice just because it featured the track Synthetic-Cosmos 99 that i was searching for a long time.
Finnally i will just buy everything that has to do with my favorite artists like Deedrah/Synthetic,Space Cat,The Antidote and GBU.
3.Buy everything from a specific label.
Just like i do with Solstice and like i used to do with Hommega when Eyal was releasing much better music that these days.
4.Buy cd's with special features.
I buy everything that includes video clips and dvd's.
5.Suggestions from friends.
I have bought stuff just because friends of mine suggested them to me,usually i regret this method hehe.

Specific Artists/Labels: i try to buy all stuff from swiss labels, ZMA Rec, Iboga and DS...and lately i bought all compilations with Sensient stuff in it...tho i mostly didnt like the other trax that much. also i try to catch every insaneCreation tune.
Different stuff: i buy cd's that are different than others...original and innovative ones...i mean i dont buy it if i dont like it, but usually i like every special sound.
Nice Price: in "my" store they have some very cheap cd's, mostly older stuff, and i buy those if i dont have them already.
Everything i like: no comment needed

For me the first way to make sure i buy a cd is if the words: "Twisted Records" are on it...

I'll never buy A cd just becuz of the cover (except the new PsySex) probably u dont have money problem 
I'll buy A CD just from my favorite artists.
If there is artist I dont know, will listen samples and then decide.

yeah that's quite it....
CD conver's may call your atention but i don't think is the main cause for u to buy a CD... well last week i bought 2 cds.... one i bought cause of the artists that were on the compilation, the other one was an ambient cd... i'm not a well knowledger of ambient artists so i bought it cause of the cd reviews and some friends indicate them to me... so i think basicly is this.... ppl info and your knwoledge about the artists labels etc....

I love psytrance.....and if you dl mp3 or any music from internet...or you copy cd from friends.....YOU KILL THIS MOVEMENT!!! so do you love it or what???
I buy cd because i like original 1 (cover, sound quality) and I wanna keep this scene ALIVEEEE!!!!!Then if an artist made good tunes....it s right to pay his work!Isnt it???

2. the name of the tracks

i don't really like to buy compilations... i like artists albums.
oh and if i see a really cheap cd i buy it (i saw UFS 1 for 39 nis and i bought it without thinking! same about IN MY BRAIN compilation)

I do not agree with u s-mutans, I acttually buy stuff that I like... I like goa... but still... I do like to keep up with the new releases... specially when melodic 'fullon' (which is a horrible name indeed) is envolved... I do copy from friends and dl music from the internet, and if I like it, I buy it. Most stuff I download is deleted any way...
Acttualy I´m waiting some cds rightnow... they should arrive at any moment and I´m quite ansious about it...
And the reason to buy it is very simple... quality... if u like the music u wanna hv it in the bpq.
Reasons to buy? What does reason has to do with loving The Music anyway?

Drope - what makes you buy cd A and not cd B? If you didn't love the cd you won't buy neither
hod - come to beer sheva, lots of trance cd's for 20-35 nis
A lot of the time I also buy cd's blindly. Try to figure out if it's fullon or progressive or whatever and just go for it. Most of the times the guesses are good
