I know Brazil is one of the most strong parts of our scene.
I will like to know when the movement come massive there and what make it so popular when some other countrys don't even have a trance scene.
Who is responsible about this?

there's no f*ckin' scene here, man.
just some stupid people who goes to the party at mourning with their sunglasses.
but exists some rarities who real go to enjoy the SOUND, not only the party.

Yeah i also do not think that Trance is not strong in brasil, it's commercial yes and a lot of people go to trance parties but they do not understand the concept of it all. It's more like a playboy fullon scene with people instead of dancing to samba they dance to trance or try to anyhow!

trance in brazil IS strong because there are a lot of people here that like this kind of music....

what we DONT have here is the money, because we live in brazil, altough we have a lot of parties and projects, the foreing guys make A LOT more money than we, brazilian guys....

we have the one thing u cant buy on this planet, the help of mother earth, look at the universo paralelo party, what a fuckin killa beach, look at the trancendence party, also a wordefull place....
we have a big country, with lots os natural resourses, and thatīs why,in my opnion we have the biggest potencial for the future, we just need to make things more serious, give more credits to the national artists and djīs to make the scene grow stronger and better....

the future is ours

Man u do not have to feel any less from european people because of money hehehehe look at the europe now it's still nothing special music wise...I talk for me i have not made any money from music yet i like to keep money and music separate for now so i can make a better music more from the hearth and soul. In reality all you have to do is search for new sounds ther are loads of infinite combinations! just do it i am sure we'll get some great artists from such a natural place lke brasil...

well i have to reply to what covosaid about the trance scene in brazil. i have to say that i ont think anyone knows anymore what the real concept of the trance parties is anymore. i live in israel. one of the largest trance scene country.
i can say the most of the people also in israel where the scene is very developed most of the people are "just some stupid people who goes to the party at mourning with their sunglasses" and theres nothing to so about it. we wanted this scene to grow but no one said to certain people who comes to parties only for their true love for trance. you can say that about every kind of music - even about rap which is played in every club but im sure people who actually love rap for the music and the lyrics are offended by the way it became music for horny people who want to hit on girls.
i dont know what exactly i wanted to say in the first place but just to let you know that brazil is not the only place this is happening and if your complaining the the concept is lost. well then the concept is not about money unless you are planning on doing money its about taking some music (not big artists) and digging for the love for music and not for the love of a big production! just dig with friends!

i see your point and know that it's not only in brazil that the things goes bad.
what i meant is: most of the people here don't go to a party because they really like of the music, the party, the atmosphere or (maybe) the concept of it. people goes to take drugs and then have fun, or even to say to their friends: "oh, yeah! the party was awesome!". they want to know nothing about trance. for them it's just a morning open air party and if it was a club party playing hiphop they'll be there having fun too, cuz they don't care SH*T about where they are, just wanna to get drunk, get high and get some chicks.
the problem is the mentality of the brazilian people. they don't have a taste, any sh*t that you play they will find it great.
"fuck the place, i just wanna have fun and get some chicks!" - words by a stupid brazilian guy.
f*ck that. i despise this and it does me get far away from any kind of "psytrance scene". even the party organizers are stupid like that.

i respect some people who really do the things because they like of it, but they are a few in this country.

it's not only here, i know, but where this topic is? so...           Obiit - Industrial Ambient

i couldnīt say better, crovo!
and itīs hipocrisy if somebody says this is not true.
Most people here donīt have personality to show what they really like. When everybody started to listen to that full on thing, everybody said it was the best. Now that some people are discovering the progressive, eeeverybody wants to listen to d-nox and beckers (just i.e.).
When you go to a party, you will see about 80% or 90% people high on sinthetics, showing themselves and competing to see who can attract more attention from the others.
I really think brasil has the potencial, but the people makes me sick and unfortunately i just donīt go to parties here anymore.
Somebody may come and say: "ah.. go to the party and enjoy it your way."
Then I would say: "how would i enjoy, if all the time i open my eyes i see something bizarre happening?!"
f*ck.. think i said too much already

i donīt know which is the empire.. i know brazil is paradise for pop trancers...skazi, gms, astrix....

crapy scene.. some places u have great parties... other places u have only shit comercial stuffs.. thatīs the way itīs going so far.. i do not guess anything is going to change while we still have people promoting this kind of parties

Trance spirit in brazil once existed.. now itīs dead... money speaks louder here....much louder than music..

popularization here was too fast and disorganized... since solaris 2003 trance has become the mainstream.. and this has f*cked the scene.;.. which used to be so underground..

iīm not against popularization.. but iīm against the way it happenned here.. itīs a shame...

But thereīs still a salvation.. there are still small parties and some party makers who keep the feeling of trance.. hard to find.. but if you look for... you will...

I repeat.. in brasil.... there is a balada scene.. real trance scene is hidden....very hard to find...

what can i tell to a public (like sao paulo) of 30 people to see xenomorph during the nite and during the day 5000 to see space monkey (iīm not discussing if his music is good or bad) and stuff? what about 100 people o see penta? why donīt people go to parties @ nite?

Thatīs because drugs took control.. people go mostly for that..not being worried about the music they are listenning and it helped to destroy what we used to call scene...

People donīt know what trance is.. in sao paulo things are pathetic.. onlyy one real trance party ehre in the year GOA GIL.. the only one who could gather people again in the real spirit of celebration that i know as psytrance...

BOOM.. letīs save psytrance... i hope

i agree with most of what was said but i think that going to the gigs in the morning has nothing to do with the "concept" or the "spirit" of trance

actually, it is during the night that you see most fucked up people on drugs and stuff we all complaining about

beyond, we brazilian suffer from very, very low self-esteem. i mean VERY LOW self-esteem, and we tend to see things worse than they really are - see the example from our israeli friend above about their parties. i bet a lot of people from other countries would say the same (our parties are crap), but we are proud to say we are worse. it's like denying our nationaly ("look, i'm criticizing brazilian party, i look more european now, don't i?")

and yes, there is a lot of shit going on but there is a lot of cool stuff going, look carefully and you'll see

back to the topic, we do have thousands of parties every single weekend, but take some of them out of it (xxperience, tribe, kaballah, psyde, mega avonts ) and the "scene" is no longer that huge, and also no long that bad           Bhavatu sabba mangalam

well i was reading your thoguht here and thinking why people think so much of the parties in israel . i think that the only reason why trance ha really survived in israel ( by that i mean that there are still a couple of true undergound and beautiful parties) is becasue we have many people here who make trance. of course there are many DJ's who are crap and are just doing it to be in this scene but we also have many who are not and are still in it for the music. i also think that the crowed is changing all over the world since this scene became so comercialized but we still have some people who love the music. and those people go to certain underground parties. so we have a small "cummona" which is agroup of people who are uniting the trance and keeping it like it is supposed to be.

i'm really not proud of saying the parties here are a big crap, but what can i do if, at least for me, they ARE a crap? anyhow, the point here is the people, not the party.
i'm not despising my nationality, i'm just telling my point of view.
drugged people are everywhere, night and day. but i think the peak of drugged people is at morning, for sure! just go to a big party at morning and see it by yourself.
this problem isn't happening only here in Brazil, all around the globe. trance is getting popular and that brings people without mind-opened, self-esteem, free thinking and a lot of other things what involves mass culture, or "alienation".
at least i've tried to change that, without success.           Obiit - Industrial Ambient
