Hey all you psy freaks out there.....
Just wanted to know what made you guys a psy freak???
When I was just 15 i used to listen to techno...that was in 94/95.... i liked that kinda music till 97/98...
Then i started listen to trance...that was just mild in some disco's....
Then the following year 98/99 went to Goa with my friends for the New year...
Liked some parties becaues of the Crowd and some Music as well...
Coming time picked up some Cd's and started listening to them....
after That year is when I actually started liking the Music...
Have been Going For Parties Ever Since....
Love Psy Music...
Love Psy community...
Its been a Wonderful Experience after that...
I just wanted to know out of Thousands of Psy freaks out there... There must be something different to tell....

Hello,
I was also a house & techno addicted.. then a good friend of mine showed me trance..
It wasnt that long ago.. I remember the two tracks who made me fall in love by this genre:
Infected Mushroom - Mush Mushi
Skazi - And then magic mushrooms..
My first big party was listening to SUN Project under heavy rain - ironic anh?

hey mush mushi is one of the tracks that i really liked when i used to listen to rock and metal...now since 1 n half years its been psy all along.....

well ironic but mp3s were the reason i got into this scene.....one of my friend gave me a bunch of cds to make copies for himself and all he told me they were some psytrance mp3s "didnt even back bother then"..... later in the wee mornin hours i somehow decided to check them out myself....... i was truly amazed by the sound and then there was no turning back......  .... got addicted

I remember trance being played at our school parties since i was like 14-15, back at 1999.  Stuff like Holymen, Eyal Barkan, and all those things.  Didn't like that at all...
Then at 2001, I won a contest by "maariv lanoer" magazine  and got the compilation Retro - Ten years of Israeli Trance. I remember playing that album alot at the time though i didn't get fully addicted to the style... 
Then a year and a half passed and i started smoking the herb  and my mind opened up, started to like the psychedelic vibe a lot more, and now here I am.  |

it is sensorially overwhelming to your other senses like sight and smell and is the most crazy chemical-free trip. well worth the brain-wrinkling psy is sonic window blast through time, eh man. no way else, brother psy warp kultur! NO korp war kultur! |

Thanks to my mom and brother! I never got into any other scene. They started taking me when I was real young (in 97 was my first party).
Been a freak ever since  hehehehehe

Short answer: I became a psyfreak in 2000. In the year of 2000 I listened to Infected Mushroom for the first time.. and I also ate Magic Mushrooms for the first time. After that I became psytones, hehe.

My good old hippiefriend introduced me to this lifestyle with some good ol' norweigan Psilocybe Semilanceata mushrooms and the album Shakta-Silicon Trip and all the dragonfly and matsuri classics in 99'.... Then i met god and i've been hooked ever since!

In 1995, a good friend of mine lent me this plastic disc, saying : "try this man, this is some serious funky sh*t !".
That was Hallucinogen - LSD Single.
