Well FD, as strange as this world we live in is, I bet they would hunt down DL'ers before they clean up the problems you speak about.
It's just how narrow-minded this world is. Norway is the same as Sweden btw.

I sincerely think the TaxPayers money can be put to more constructive use .... like the more serious issues mentioned in this thread!!

Some things with a greater degree of importance and affect on the society should be tackled first - that's what the govt is there for primarily!!

Somehow it doesn't justify the pupose - i think it's probably another scam so that the polititians can fill their pockets with somemore moolah!!

dude, im not wishing anything for anyone..
actually i dont give a fuck if you download.
its the major labels and the movieindustry who got this to reality,

this thread is just about facts and not wishes. in sweden its illegal to use p2p for copyrighted stuff and the result of this was a 2500 euro fine in this particular case.

I think that the problem is not what my country do for file sharing or mp3...At last we have to understand that downloading illegally music is crime.Personally i wouldn't copy an album that took much time to be released. For instance,it took Dado 6 years to write his ambient album and now i will download it in a minute?.....Not a chance!!
In addition,we don't have to buy every album is released. We buy only the good ones. It's a good opportunity for our scene to get cleaned from some shit.

Unfortunately in Greece nothing takes place in order to limit illegal downloads and cd copying,i wish that one day what happened in Sweden will also happen in my country, maybe then some people will change their way of thinking and attitude towards music, artists and the labels.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I was making a general statement.......not one pointed directly at you.....

no offense intended....

i still stand to my statment.....

i will not support anyone that wishes harsh punishment on others......

2500 euros for downloading.....that is ridiculous.......i can see that for downloading the music then redistributing it......

2500 euros would be proportionate for this crime.....IMO

but not for simply downloading the music....

and anyone who thinks that people should get fined 2500 euros for this.........

hmmm....

doesn't sound like a real friendly person....and most likely has bitter feelings deep down inside.....
