inspiration ---->getting inspired by the story of the track , the thoughts , total feel of the planet where that music takes u too , and of course there are other human beings on that planet who get inspired by fellow creatures

hmm agree with you on that one
i don't know if its good or bad .. but yes the styles have changed a lot ..
how different do you feel it is ..
the artists sound now compared to the old days ?

I just meant that in the old days the artist were more different one from another.
5 years back.

i feel that its very dificult for an artist too have an absolutely unique sound which you can tell without looking at the cover simply because there are probably 100 times the number now compared to back then. i can remember logic bomb, hux flux ,astrix , infected and gms and a couple of dark artists like droidsect , dark soho ,seroxat ,azax producing stuff. And now if you try and count you wont be able to . at the end of the day everyone producing now was inspired by someone know? it's what you do after the inspiration to drift into your own style which will be the differentiating factor . some artists take two or three releases and some are totally different right from the debut albomb.

I got nothing to do with that and all to do with talent and time. All people cant be painters. Especially not unique painters.

Those who have their own unique sound are normally those who have used a lot of time to obtain their own sound. How can anyone expect a 18-20 year old to have his/her own sound? It takes a lot of work and at least a few years to obtain your own sound. And in a scene where the labels and wannabe musicians spit out compilation after compilation and cant wait to release artists 1st "takes" it's not so hard to figure out why 99% is copy & paste.

I once read that protoculture was 'inspired' by Logic Bomb, and you dont really get that impression from most of his tracks.....

Also, just as an example I think Silicon Sound's 'sound' is very recognizable.......he may have matured over the years..but its been for the good!
