Cause it's trance. And Sasha, BT, Chemical Brothers, Luke Chable, Paul Oakenfold and many more aren't stupid. But why you're telling us about it? If it's not for psytrance then don't visit it.

I posted there for a while, especially in the Texas & Southwest forum. Then, after a while, I discover that place is not for psytrance, it's for house and stupid EDM (electronic dance music)! Did anyone else get this impression? Why is it called Trance Addict?

didn't u realize that it wasn't psytrance all that time? and why do you call it stupid house and EDM music? do you have any idea what music is? you know it's not all about psytrance in life..
i guess u should be a bit more tolerant here  |

100% ... being from a house/trance background i used to also get confused while reading threads on this forum, mentioning "trance" and same thing with "progressive" 
(Lola, i think what King Salmon qualified "stupid" is EDM and not House just to pinpoint that often, all genres / derivatives of house and trance - excluding psy - are referred to as "EDM". Honestly i also find the terminology "EDM" quite cheesy and would rather call it Electronic Music should i not want to list the genres, i.e. Trance, Psytrance, house, D'n B etc)

I first started noticing something was up when all the artist album covers featured photos of the artists! Have you ever noticed that seems to be a trend with that "other" kind of music?

Nathan I can read so many times here sentences like "Psytrance is THE fast-forward-cyber-cosmic-avant-guarde-music-that-makes-the-listeners-the-most-happy-and-the-girls-listening-to-it-the-most-sexy" or some meaning less or more the same, and I won't stop repeating that the people or the artists believing in it are lining the finger in the eye to the elbow and should listen to what is going on in the other Electronic Music styles.. They might be surprised.. No to say impressed.. If they have the humility to admit it, of course..
But please let's not start such a debate in this thread, will we ?

I don't know really if there is something to learn from the other side. It's not that psy Trance culture is 100 perfect; But that is your opinion.

EDM is a dynamic scene to say the least. What's more, a lot of electronic releases in that particular genre are NET-releases, which mean they can be downloaded for a great deal free of charge as well.
Ambient producers in this scene could learn a thing or two from Introspective for example. Try searching on that one.
And please people, don't lift psytrance to the top of the range in music. There are great accomplishments in numerous genres.
