dear esin,
first of all, i can submit about a dozens other sites that state and prove, drug and lsd damage is inevitable to the mind and the body. it doesn't mean it's true cause it's on the net. this very site that you propose may be the propaganda.
second of all, you say that lsd is ok, but you conclude saying that there are many casualties, and that these drugs aren't for everyone. so for who are these drugs? for the mentally strong? and who is to decide who is mentally strong? each person for himself i guess is the answer...so if i think i am mentally ok is it ok for me to take lsd? are you aware that mentally ill people, do not know they are ill they don't even want to go to the doctor because they think they are fine, and everyone else is crazy... have you ever met a person that is phsychotic? you won't be able to tell the diffrence from a "normal"person (if there is such a thing as a normal person), so what would you do if you met a person like this at a festival for example, and he asked you for some liquid or lsd? wouldn't you score some for him, or wouldn't you share your own with him (peace, love and unity right?)
my point is that you should get your facts straight, you make it sound like drugs are only for some previliged people with strong mentalities, when in fact drugs should not be used by anyone...
keep also in mind that in this forum, there are people that have never used drugs, and by reading posts like yours, they might decide to do so...so what if some of these people are not "previliged" and are not mentally strong? what then esin?

lsd can make u become paranoid after long use , like weed does also , that's right ,
BUT the point of this guy is the point of a guy that never tried lsd ( good for him i'm not judging ) .but talking about something like that without knowing what u talk about is not really serious imo
lsd doesn't bring u to an unreal fake world of fake feelings, lsd is not mdma or cocaine u gotta understand this, lsd bring u deeply inside yourself , and that's not really the same. that's right, some people are not ready to face themselves with their own fears, but it's all about psychology

However if i start with amphetamins,and cacaine,and heroin ,You can imagine...
But it is a topic for lsd.
And something about lsd supporters:
Can you go to a father or mother,and tell all these in their face while they have a VEGETABLE son or daughter,cause of lsd use?
To much pain my friends...

I'm interested and might as well change my opinion on the subject.
Erowid is not propaganda, as far as i know.
The Shroomery is completely biased, of course, but my point in linking to it was to show the SUBJECTIVE experience of someone who has had several thumbprint experiences. Not trying to objectively prove anything.
I never tried to make acid pass as a harmless drug or a even a 'OK' drug. I know it carries serious risks.
I have no interest in that people use it. I am not a drug dealer, nor do i want to be one. No agenda in that post.
The biggest risk in using psychedelics is the possibility of a traumatic bad trip, or a ego-death experience for someone that isn't prepared for such. Any of these may result in permanent PSYCHOSIS, TRAUMA, or PARANOIA.
Never vegetative states nor burnt brain cells, though - which are probably consequences of polydrug abuse. Especially when large doses of ecstasy, K and these new Research Chems are involved.
Come on people, even the government of my country has cut with the 'brain cell damage' propaganda.
I never said LSD was only for strong-minded people. How can one know if he is strong minded if he has nothing to compare to?
Besides, LSD has no problem at all in KICKING a strong-mind in the ASS, given the chance to.
The stuff is overwhelming and humbling even to the strongest of the human minds.
I use LSD very occasionally, always in the right set and setting, and under proper guidance. This greatly diminishes the risks of negative experiences.
The psychedelic experience is not to be taken lightly. If in the right conditions it can be extremely valuable, positive and constructive (it was used for psychotherapy before people started abusing it, remember?).
But if one's objective is to get high or "fuckt up" he's better off drinking beer  . Alcohol is much more effective at that IMHO. Not to mention less risky...
My point in the last post, was to make those who are blatantly against LSD use to understand the position of those who find it a valuable experience. And respect our choice just like most of us respect theirs. Because most of us ARE NOT brain-damaged druggies.
I normally wouldn't have given a s**t about what other people think, but after all we are all involved in the psychedelic culture, which AFAIK stemmed from the use of these kinds of drugs. That's why i posted.
If any mods or admins feel that my last post may be perceived as an encouragement to LSD use, please delete it ASAP.
This was not my intention, nor do i want to carry such a burden.

PS - And please don't think mushrooms are safer, just because they are natural. Strychnine and snake venom are also natural, and that doesn't make them healthy.
Psilocybin may make you as crazy or traumatized as LSD. And it is a chemical too, just instead of being synthesized by a chemist it's synthesized by some species of mushrooms. |

JUST a comment about psy-trance and its relations with acid...YES psy has been a music genre strongly connected with acid BUT NOW, it seems to be very clear that psytrance is mainly inspired by mdma. Personally i think that e's fucked up the music i loved. Just listen to orichalcum, koxbox-dragon tales, even the first xdream tracks.
