In which city are you?
I live in Goiania... mostly we have a lot of huge commercial parties over here, but sometimes we have the luck of finding some underground parties... No big line up, but big tunes for sure, and friendly people, AND NO LOLIPOPS!

i have gone for a few parties in india, and i should be lucky cos all the parties i have gone for have had a lot of nice people... amazing vibes... b'lore has a lot of freaks and nice parties... goa needless to say is getting too commercial nowadays, but then if you go in the right time, there will be a lot of kick ass parties, and the best part is there will be lots of them at the same time... oct-nov and then feb-mar... these are the best times to be in goa... still to go for a party here in the US... hope that will happen soon...

Sorry people i did not explain myself well i have been to India, Australia and now brasil and even europe many places and many festivals but now everywere i go is the same shitty music playing calling it trance! and with people on lolipops hihihihii i want to know if people real people who dedicate their lives to Trance who are on this frequency not pretend to be! Is there anywere here in brasil or anywere were these parties still exists? I am in Alto paraiso right now very happy very very happy! but i need a party

This is the very first party-link I browsed the pictures after reading your answer here.. I was not denigrating this but I seriously doubt ALL of them have a serious "electronic" Culture (I didn't at all when I was 19, but I was still sure of it haha).. What I see in these pictures are young people having fun, smiling, ok it's nice.. But my post was directly aimed at Willy Wonka statement about Russia being a place for "hardcore freaks" (his words).. Sorry I don't see any in the link here.. These youngs are having fun and it's good, but they're following a kind of trend..

I ve seen a DVD of an psy event in Russia, and the crowd wasn't different from any other i ve seen.
as for the parties being different from before, i believe it is a natural evolution, not saying that it is right, but i dont expect the psy scene to stay sane and protected from all the commercial trash |

Hey Gil,
Nowadays this is a strange topic to post cause ok people here are recommending places where you can hear good music but the problem is that what is good for some is not good for others.As you well know this is not just a matter of commercial or non commercial but also good music and bad music.For instance most of the trance which is being played lately at night time is not commercial at all but still knowing your tastes (which are like mine) you still wouldn't enjoy yourself!Latley I've been hearing good comments about the scene in Japan.Apparently the small parties in Japan are booming at the moment...playing GOOD INTELLIGENT MATURED music and NOT COMMERCIAL.
(More on the progressive side though but still pyschedelic).

now japanese ppl making some underground party.this is very nice and killa.i think became more nice party for sure.but ppl like commercial party.like full on style.....
i like underground party coz undergournd is here real psychedelic.we make party is almost 200-max400 ppl coming almost.but its ok coz ppl all enjoy.we keep this style really and nonstop killa underground party!!!!!! |

Actually for most parties in Russia a party with an average age of 19 would be a rather 'mature' party. Many of the parties are full with 14 and 15 year olds!
