I heard there were about 1000 people, and a storm destroyed a part of the main stage.           Majority is never right!

I guess more than 1000 people. A lot of effort was invested in this.
But in a way, it is a success, cause the xpo, which is a first festival, had to compete with dozens of festivals in Europe, with long time reputation.           Majority is never right!

1000 people is a very small crowd for a festival...
The organisers probably lost allot of money :-(

better luck next year...           MiniMAL cabron...

well, i just got back from the XPO and it was a disapointment. there were allot of thing that could have been done differently in order to make it a better event, but there were allot of thing that were not in control (the storm). i really dont want to say anything bad here because the orenizeres feel it more than any of us can imagine. they know what was wrong and what they should have done better. the only thing we can do is suport the people who tried to make this event happen.

yes detox i agree but u have to try first as u say to attempt and as far as i remember for the XPO the organisation was a catastrofy(sorry but thats mine opinion).and last year sola luna was held for the first time but it was very succesful.
come on even the stages were not set up on time as they should have been on 5th of august.actually the main stage worked only one night because it was 1whole day late and the storm came by so it didn't work at all
the deco was really weak so everything looked kind of kitch??!!
yea there were about 1000 people on the "festival" which is far bellow than the expected(i'm sure u remember that xpo was announced to be one of the biggest festivals for year 2002).it was just like a bigger local party/festy
many dj-s didn't come so all those names written in the line up didn't play their music.
and one thay we were dancing on the second stage which after the storm became a main one(although it wasnt appropriate for it), the music was stoped and u know what the dj said?-ha, he said that he had done it deliberately because he wasnt payed.also the line up was constantly changing so it was a total mess!
next thing, where were the places where the labels had the exibition which was the most important thing for this festival?well the answer is nowhere or no actually there were 2 tents presenting a label and exibiting their offers or so(domo records and USTA)
another important thing that annoyed me was taking away the toilets one day before the festival finished so we had no toilets for a whole day and maybe even more so we had to use the nature which after a while becomes stinky...
and finally offcourse the weather wasn't on our side but it is a fact that the organisation was on a very veryyy low level.
that is actually why i didn't feel this event as a festival because i felt no energy, no vibe.it always occured a problem that put everybody down so that's why imo this, as a festival, was a total failure
but, as a place for camping and having some fun was nice with all those shops...that place was kind of warm and charming.i especially liked the places with some particular food like SHAKSHUKA or the happy soup...
and the chill out stage was very nice because it had the best spot and some more deco and shelters, chai shop...and there i could've sometimes even feel as if i'm on a festival
i just came back and strange but i'm not so much tired since i slept there more than i sleep at home and the reasons are written above
better luck and efort next year

thank god we didnt go there!
and for given us the choice of greece ...
anyway i feel bad for the organizers and mostly for the crowd that came there... hang on           I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

As one that was there I have to say couple of things... First I think that the organization wasn't so BAD.. They had flops for sure, but the situation wasn't easy at all there ( weatherwise + not enough ppl came ) and there are definite things that Andrejcid pointed out that weren't correct.. such as -

Main floor shouldn't been opened the first day, and was opened just on time when Mushroom Mag., started the first nite of it.. Ofcourse it is sad that on the first day it is working the bloody storm fucked it up but hey - mother nature it is!! The reasons to close the main stage were completely correct - the organizers were loosing heeps and I don't think crowd of 1000 ( when any given time not more than 500 ppl on the floor ) needs 80K sound system, they can do very well with three or four sets on the substitute floor.

All in all pity the fest didn't go as well as all of us hoped, but remember - this year is hard for festivals - Voama didn't start at all, Sola Luna was closed after couple of days and less ppl attended it then the XPO.

One last thing about the lineup and who arrived and who did not - the whole shite started cuz there were not enough ppl coming to hold this thing together, and we must remember it... This is a tribe thing so when there is no tribe - I guess it won't work out on most of the aspects...

And the place itself was AMAZING and deserved much more

i really dont think there will be a next year for the xpo. but anybody who wants to have a big event should concider that amazing location.

btw, there was something good about the party that people will always remember--the haldolium sunset-----wooooooowwwwwww

it was just perfect!           I never apologize. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am. Homer J. Simpson
