I think that we need an change in the trance style its became to be borring and no one make a new style!!

hmmm i personally dont think that sub6 is THAT revolutionary...its a little bit more original than the others, yes, but its not a new style or anything... |

Think Sync is really good, lots of different tracks.
Try to listen to Stuff like Intergalactic and Sesto Sento. It's my taste of full on. Also Sub6, Pixel and Artax...

lots of people ask for changes , but I guess they just don't like psytrance anymore.
psytrance is psytrance , it can't be house , it can't be ambient.
u probably ask for other genres , not for change in trance !
bottom line :
psytrance is psytrance , if u change it too much , it won't be psytrance anymore !
what if everyone of us will think positive about peace ?

i disagree Psy, there is always place for change. the definition does'nt matter.
I don't know if everything sounds alike, i find new ideas in tracks from '97-'98!
there are alot of new stuff out there.

Psydark_light: actually, psytrance is psytrance, but wasn't always what it is today. The style changed from mainly goa tracks to "clean" psytrance, then to full-on, there's progressive, techtrance, the wierd music from Finland, minimal, whatever. And guess what, all of them are psytrance, not house, not ambient, not techno.
What people want is another revolutionary year like 1995 (Goa starts dying off, Psytrance starts to replace it. Hallucinogen's Twisted revolutionizes the way people work with sound) or 1998 (Tim Schuldt and GMS conquer the dancefloors by storm, full-on takes control, TIP Records shows it's first signs of finding a style to settle down with) when you can hear a total change in everyone who made music back then, as well as the labels' choices from the beginning of the year to the end of it.

then, why the heck do u call to minimal music "minimal" , and to techtrance "techtrance".
why don't u call these psytrance ?!
I will tell u why !
because if psytrance fans will listen to minimal music , without knowing that they listen to minimal.
they will say , what the fu*k is this cr*p...
u know why ?
because minimal , techtrance and all the others sub genres "labels" made by people who afraid to call their music psytrance , because , psytrance is much more better , much more complex .
they afraid people to compare between psytrance (full on , goa..) to minimal (mini..) because, they know that minimal won't survive !
cause people like beautiful melodies , something that u can enjoy it .
the minimal trance expression made because minimal can't be compare to the real psytrance.
psytrance (trance) , is music for the dancefloor and for the soul!
this is the reason trance music born for.!
when u try to change the root ,u actually kill the genre.
