Hello, you want to know the 3 best psytrance djs? well the people that play full on music or psychedelic trance what ever you call it would be,
no. 1: DJ YOSHIIE(side3) His mixes are smooth and are killer!!
no. 2 and 3: There are too many!
But by far the best dj in Japan is DJ SO. He spins proggy stuff and his mixing technique and story are the best i have heard in this world.
I have heard many artists and out side dj`s but none have come close to SO`s dj sets. |

I agree with Hikari. I have only heard dj So once, but it was damn good. He works for Technics, I think, and wants to get into design (if my memory is correct). I think he started off as a techno dj, so he has the skills. Dj Sal (Stargate) is also very good. He is very young but he has sick mixing skills too. Also more of a progressive dj. Both of these guys would be worthy of playing in Portugal. For a harder, more psychedelic style (but not "full-on"), the dj pair Shingo and Maru-de know how to rock things up, and have played at internationals such as the Australia Eclipse party. I guess one of best prog dj is Tonio who is under the label-Plastik Park and resident of Trance Cafe.
For full on dj......myb he is not 100% japanese but Brazilian-Japanese dj E-L5 ( Drap Drop ) is the best mixer and talented dj in Japan. Also Dj Ryo from Solstice Music is very fine dj for commercial music....also one of guy I met here in Tokyo is fucking awesome crazy psy he play but he asked me not to disclose him..... Other young djs stinks LOL |

yes,the names you seen here they are good djs!
so,he play verry progressive house stuff!dj tonio
from plastik park and trance cafe him play verry
progressive techno stuff!but i like the guys 2!but
for me the best dj and musician is:dj e-l5/drap drop(enzyme records u.k/wajanga records brasil)
for me is the best beat mixing i have seen in japan!
also the music him made is killer stuff!dj e-l5 he
play full on and progressive stuff 2!for me he is professional dj!he knows what the people want @
dance floor!but of course he have he style...killer
morning stuff!after i seen hes dj,i surprise!this guy
have a lot new music all fresh unrelesed stuff!i agree psybaba,for me dj e-l5 is the best mixer and
talented dj in japan! |

dj supposed to provide new music and he does and also mixes so well.
but there is the guy in the deep underground play like him with more crazy music......

yeah,dj so its the best,dj sal its the best,dj tonio its the best!you know guys,i so happy to see good coments about me!and yes i have a lot new unrelesed music!but
this not important think!the most important think is...
you know what the ppl want @ the dance floor!not only
play what you like!because djs play for the people,so we
have to play what people want!but of course play tracks
we like!this for russ and other people here!stop this think,progressive trance,full on trance,or etc trance!hehe
because its all bullshit!its music!i told the true...i not think dj so,or dj sal,or dj tonio is the best dj in japan!
they need learn more!not only because they play progressive trance!i play progressive trance 2!i like all
styles!the track just need be nice track!i have leasen all this djs here,i not like so much,nice in the first 1 hour
after start get boring,because they play only one style!
never going up or down,all ways same!and dj so he mix
good,but its not psychedelic,i dont know he dont have he

Yeh, Tsuyoshi used to be the best Psytrance DJ in Japan. But not anymore. He plays funky techno, a lot of weird stuff. He is not invited to any psy parties anymore. Also i your talking about a Psychedlic trance dj then tsuyoshi is not even close.
Mad Factory(El-5) is a good full on dj, Shed is also has some killer music and a full on style that nobody in japan has.
But judging from the music I listen to mainly which is proggy and techno, DJ SO fades all competition.
He used to be a house and techno DJ. So his mixing skills are killer, he does like long mixes about 3 min or 2 min to change one track. So he brings in new sounds to a original track making it sound like a remix.
Well if your into proggy music, I reccomend those who come to Japan to check DJ SO out.
