people, artists, labels.... please keep the promotional comments to the section they belong... - the promo section. here we review cd's and nothing more. this is not the section to write about upcoming tours, "waiting to hear it", "good luck boom shiva bolenat" or anything that's not a review comment.
we realize that not everyone can write a 2 page review and thats not what we are asking.
we just wish to keep this section in high quality and not turn it into another "promotional section".

yeah you can say that again if a label or artists leave a thank you on such review is one think and leaving a message every other post is an other some reviews here have more posts by the labels then the reviewers... that is lame! |

Couldn't agree more Surrender! I'd rather read real opinions from real people than just going with the flow of pseudo promos - or as clown put it, saying every album is KILLLLLAHHHHH! and getting all your mates to come on and say the same 
Btw, great name Evil Fucker! lol With a name like that you should be working as a personal injury lawyer!

well i can only add that if this dogdy situation continues isratrance moderators maybe should start thinkin in changing this two sections of the forum names to:
promotional (before released) and promotional (after released) heheh.
face it, one promotional section is not enough looool  |

Good reviews... bad reviews... give me any reviews that are the true unbiased opinions of the folks that actually listen to the music and NOT just some meaningless promotional blurb written (and backed up in consequent posts) by people with a financial interest - and their friends. If anyone wants that shit then they can go and read it on Psyshop or whatever.

means that the review itself should be not commented? ..... in case of DeathPosture's reviews for example this would be a tragedy!!! ... always a pleasure to read his reviews in many different styles ....
what about writing reviews to cd's were absolutely not the writers taste? ..... might be also a good idea .........
BUT, and I would appreciate it, who is able to write a review which contains the apparent negatively opinion in moderate words without offending? who is able just to judge the production or style without considering own taste? ..... I suppose, including me cause of my average english, there are not many freaks out there can be that objective .....
but I know what u mean ...

good points ILSE... that's were hopefully the moderation will be in moderation (copyright to karnaf). sensitivity is the key here i think and this idea will be implemented as carefully as possible and without "iron rules".
